Question and please help !

is it wet where you live? have you been outdoors on the day before?

if that happened to me here my first thought would be a LEECH got up my leg and fell off in my sleep....they don't hurt when they bite and leave almost no mark but a day later the spot will itch like a mosquito bite
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leech
Haemophagic leeches attach to their hosts and remain there until they become full, at which point they fall off to digest. To feed on its host, leeches use their anterior suckers to connect to a host for feeding, and also release an anesthetic to prevent the host from feeling the leech. Once attached, leeches use a combination of mucus and suction to stay attached and secrete an anti-clotting enzyme, hirudin, into the host's blood stream.

so you bleed quite a bit after they fall off

see if you can find a dead leech in your bed room or where you got ready for bed...could have fallen off in the shower even ...

DO EXPLORE ALL OTHER SUGGESTIONS TOO please

THIS is only my experience but I live kinda surrounded by rainforest so its normal here...I keep a pair chickens free ranging around the house just to keep the ticks and leeches down :cool2:
