Question from "spiritual practitioner"

Hello,
this is my first post on this Forum. English is not my native language, so I am a bit afraid if I manage to say what I really want to say.

I have been searching for answers on this forum for some time already. I am also in the process of reading The Wave, although I have not finished it yet. At the moment I am in the state of total confusion, and it drives me crazy. I have many, many questions and one BIG ONE, of a vital importance to me. I hope that somebody here will be willing and able to help me to understand. But before I can ask my questions, I need to tell a bit of my history.
For many years by now I have followed the so called spiritual master, after I have received an initiation from her.

The teachings of the master in a nut shell are like this: above this physical existence there are so called spiritual planes. You can generally divide them into 5 main levels, each of them has many sublevels. First two levels (astral and mental) belong to the circle of reincarnation, i.e. as long as you stay here, you must come back to physical world and work out your karma. But once you surpass these 2 levels and you go to the 3-rd level, you are liberated from this circle and you do not need to ever came back, unless it is your will to do so.

Master herself promises to take each student of hers to the 5-th level, which is a level of masters. She does NOT take any money for anything. The requirement is to be at least vegetarian, and possibly vegan (I know what members of this forum think about vegetarianism:) ) and to meditate at least 2,5 hours a day.

During the meditation we are supposed to concentrate on the so called Third Eye, i.e. on the chakra in the middle of the forehead. There are 2 kinds of meditation, on the sound and on the light. I must say, that after the initiation something definitely changed in me and I perceived it as a good change. During the course of my practice I have not experienced much, although I do hear some kind of sound and sometimes I can see the glimpses of white light. It also gives me a peaceful feeling. But there are others who do experience a lot, for example they can hear music, instruments, a violin for example, and they see a lot of light, they can see the so called manifestation body of the master, etc. They also say during the meditation they visit other worlds, like other planets or experience different state of being, like existing in the light, while not having a body, etc.

For a long time the master seemed to me to be a very wise person. For example she taught that doing the so called good deeds, like giving to charity etc. only earns us a good karma, but do not contribute to spiritual progress at all, unless we do things unconditionally and even unknowingly (without ego). This resonated well with my intuition. And now I recognize it as being in tune with STO. Also we were encouraged to ‘spread the teachings’ but we were told to never ever try to force anything on others, unless they come by themselves and ask for it. Just give an information and explain things, if asked. This also seems to be in accord with STO.

Some time ago things started changing. Master started telling things which were contradictory to each other or did not seem logical. I gradually stopped having this feeling that she really knows, what is going on and started having more and more doubts. Some other students also noticed it, although not all. Sometimes I even started to feel as if she was a not the same person any more (and now, since I am more familiar with C’s etc. I think, that maybe she IS a different person, maybe influenced by STS entities). With her leadership our group started a big, enormous campaign aiming to save the world.

What is now taught by the master in short looks like this: our planet is in great danger, global warming is upon us, in order to save the earth, all people or at least most of them must become vegetarians, and possibly vegans, because, first we should be compassionate towards animals (which I agree), secondly this is the only healthy diet, and thirdly raising enormous amounts of animals results in destroying the environment, causing cutting a lot of trees, animals produce a lot of wastes, which in turn produce enormous amounts of metan and this in turn causes hitting of a planet, melting the ice etc (I know that according to C’s an ice age is coming).

In a nut shell, the only way to save the planet is to be vegan and to be ‘green’. And for some time I believed all that, it seemed logical to me.

Also we are told that we are the saints, and we should work wholeheartedly to save the world, that the more we practice, the more positive energy we generate, and this in turn can change the negative atmosphere on the planet.

At the same time other knowledge started coming my way, about us being controlled, about the Lizzies etc., in the beginning that was David Icke, Alex Jones and this kind of stuff, later I read the interview by Cammelot with James (creator of Wingmakers – by the way, this interview is completely different than the rest of his stuff, it knocked me down for a long time, which is exactly what I needed, so even if he belongs to the disinformation side, he was extremely useful for me and a lot of what he says there is in tune to what C’s say. http://projectcamelot.org/james_wingmakers_sovereign_integral.html ). And all these led me to C’s.

For a long time I could not figure out, how can that be, that so many gurus, including my master, seem to know nothing about Lizzies and all the stuff. For me it looked like there were 2 separate courses of teaching; many people/masters were claiming, that right after the physical plain there is an astral one, but all the Lizzies stuff did not match to it at all, and I did know, how to put it together. And then in The Wave I read, what C’s said, that astral plain is in the 5D, and not 4D, and after your physical death you go directly to the 5-th, and you do not go through the 4-th and you do not even you see it.

So now my understanding is that, many so called ‘spiritual masters’ know or have an access to the 5D and they believe that is all there is above the physical. They might know only astral or mental, causal, whatever, depending on their level, and that is what they teach. From this perspective all negative things we see in our world is of our own, people, making, or perhaps animals etc. They do not know, that there is something between (4D). They also teach about Maya, negative force, but nobody tells, what exactly it is (there is a King of Maya, devils etc.).

Putting all I said together it looks like all activity of the group only make Lizzes&Co. happy and is totally STS . It seems like (and James in his interview said that) religion and so called ‘spiritual practice’ with an ‘enlightened master’ are the 2 sides of the same coin - if somebody is dissatisfied with a religion, he can go and practice with this or that master/guru.
So, knowing all that I should immediately leave the group for good. But here comes my doubts and questions. I did stop promoting anything at all, but I am not sure about the value of meditation itself. Because the meditation really seems to work. If not, what is the light, people see during it, and what is the sound they hear? Why does it induce a peaceful feeling? I realized that I do not know, what this meditation really is. Previously I believed that during the initiation I became connected to the higher source of energy and when I sit quietly, I let this energy work on me. And maybe this is the case? Also I remember when Laura said, that we can’t take for granted that we have an astral, mental, causal body, but we must develop them. So maybe the meditation given from somebody familiar with 5D can helps us develop these bodies.

On the other hand I feel, that a method given by somebody who promotes STS activities can NOT be helpful, even if before this person seemed to be wise (and maybe it was just my subjective opinion). Just like with the tree and its fruit.

Or maybe it depends on the motivation of of person. If your motivation is STO, it is helpful, and if it is STS, it is detrimental.

The result for me is that I stopped meditating for some time now, but I really need to know, if this decision is right.

Can sombody here help me understand? :)

Welcome, Jasminum. There will be message for you to introduce yourself in newbies section ;)
I have practiced meditation exercises proposed by channelled entity claiming to be 4D (didn't know about STS/STO at that time), it was very powerful in a sense of inducing state/feeling of permanent synchronicity. After a time i started having problems with breathing, which led me to EE. I can't exactly remember how i got to Laura's work - The Wave, maybe it was all interconnected synchronically, even as a result of that meditation technique. But i just want to say that you will not find any technique so powerful as Eiriu-Eolas. I recommend you give it a try. Lights and sounds are not important and may even be signs of something not beneficial happening to you.

Hi jasminum,

Welcome to our forum. :)

We recommend all new members to post an introduction in the Newbies section telling us a bit about themselves, how they found the cass material, and how much of the work here they have read. Even though your post here does introduce you, we like to try and keep things organized for the benefit of all those reading, so we'll leave this thread for others to address your questions. When you post your intro you'll also get some links which may be helpful to you in navigating through this forum.

You can have a look through that board to see how others have done it.

Your English is just fine. :)

Hi Jasminum,
Welcome to the forum. Your experience with the spiritual teacher was interesting. Regarding meditation, it is a powerful tool and there is a lot to explore. There is a general discussion of meditation with and without seed in the thread The Role of Meditation in the Work which may be of interest to you.

Many members of the forum practice the Eiriu Eolas (EE in short) breathing and meditation technique founded by Laura and crew. It has proved to be a gentle yet powerful technique with proven results. It has the advantage of being backed up by state of the art science which gives one the advantage of knowing what exactly is going on inside the body in the physical level. If interested, you can check out the website http://eiriu-eolas.org/ . It could help answer some of the questions you have raised about meditation.

Thank you all for answering me :D
Actually I already started practicing EE, I was just thinking if I could combine the two methods, i.e. practice both of them.

Hi osher :)
How do you know it? Can you say something more to support this statement? Just yesterday I read in The Wave (chapter X)

Q: (L) So acquiring knowledge includes adding substance to one's being?
A: Indeed. It includes adding everything to one's being that is desirable. And also, when you keep invoking the light, as you do, truly understand that the light is knowledge. That is the knowledge which is at the core of all existence. And being at the core of all existence it provides protection from every form of negativity in existence. Light is everything and everything is knowledge and knowledge is everything. You are doing extremely well in acquiring of knowledge. Now all you need is the faith and realization that acquiring of knowledge is all you need.

Venusian :)
I will post my introduction in the Newbies section, although I am afraid I will have to repeat myself.

Thank you for the link, obyvatel, I am going there now :)

The goal of meditation for me is to calm, quiet my mind, so i can observe thoughts and emotions flowing through, aquire outside perspecitve. And outside perspecitve means to me to see things as they are, not to see things that doesn't exist.

I don't need hallucinations, i don't even need supernatural events like seeing ghosts or ufos, all i need is to know myself and understand all creation as good as i can as a human, so i can become more human (less animal) in understanding and behaviour. Any "unnatural" feeling thing like sound or sight hallucination brings doubt to my mind, that i perceive reality as it is. I sometimes "hear" my lost cat. I had "unnatural" or supernatural feeling of permanent synchronicity after other meditation technique-felt good at that time. And thankfully i feel perfectly natural and more sober thinking (less magical thinking) with EE. I even catch myself doing pipe breathing -starting unconsiously- during casual activities at home or outside, and it doesn't interrupt anything, even riding a bike.

So the goal is to implement meditative state into everyday life, not to have hallucinations.

Your gut is very possibly right. Years of existance have shown that this attitude of "fixing what ails this world" with solutions born of impulse and dogmatism not only not solves anything, is a sure sign of narcisistic wounding and self importance ( as far as I see right now both walk together).

And the "you are saints" could very well be a conscious or unconscious line to hook up the self importance of the followers in order to comply with the demands without conscious thinking.

Welcome to the forum!

Hi, Jasminum:

Perhaps your master is a former member of Eckankar. Many who leave the path set up there own shop and fancy themselves "masters" bringing the light and the sound with them.

She also offers not having to return to Earth again and becoming a "master" yourself in this lifetime all familiar to me from years in Eckankar.

I know that such experiences can be compelling. Waves of light and sounds from nowhere, some times spectacular "soul travel" experiences in the "far country". And the biggest hook, being one of the "Chosen".

You say the your master has changed, that you notice inconsistencies. Maybe the master hasn't changed but you have. Maybe you are beginning to see more clearly, see through illusion, to see what is really there.

Eckankar wore thin with me overtime. I noticed the "higher initiates" were more manipulative than helpful and they behaved no better towards others than anyone else. I found that despite all the "experiences" some seemingly quite profound I was still pretty much the same person I was at the start.

If your illusions are beginning to grow thin, don't cling to them. If you let go of them and Work to discover the truth, illusions will pop like the insubstantial soap bubbles they are.

You've found this forum, a powerful tool in learning the truth. Explore it. Challenge your beliefs, all of them.

Work with EE, consider you diet, Is vegetarianism really a good thing for the planet or you? Read the posts ask questions.

Best to you

Mac
