Like a lot of you, I like to read during the drab winter months, so I haven't contributed anything for awhile. I stumbled across a series of books by Ralph Ellis and didn't see anything on this site other than an obscure reference to one of his books, Thoth, Architect of the Universe. If I missed something, kindly let me know.
Mr. Ellis has a historical thread linking Kings David and Solomon with the Egyptian pharoahs (i.e. that they were pharoahs of Egypt), that the Jewish history is actually a convoluted history of early Egypt (including Akhenaton and Nefertiti (or Kiya) being Adam and Eve), culminating in Jesus being the last of the pharonic line ("King of the Jews" for a reason), then moving on to Mary Magdalene possibly founding the House of Orange. A lot of what he writes has been suspected by other authors (which he quotes), but he really lays it on the line by combining archeology and linguistics to prove up his theories. He also moves on to purportedly solving the mystery of the Pyramids and Stonehenge using mathematics, resolving his thesis that the mountain K2 in the Himalayas is the repository of Thoth's records. Of course, you can't travel this road without mentioning the Masons, and they're in there, too.
I am absolutely not a mathematician nor a linguist and certainly not a scholar; however, I think his theories are fascinating. Perhaps others could take a look at his work and dissect it? His website is edfu-books.com and his texts are available on Kindle. (I got a Kindle for Christmas and went crazy!) There are some places where he goes on a rant against various organizations and other authors, and he is especially against the religion of Islam, but if you can get past that, his authorship seems genuine.
