i watched this most excellent documentary recently, and felt i had to share it here.

the video quality isn't great, there are lots of subtitles to read (unless you speak italian) - but boy, is this jam-packed with excellent information!

well worth your time!!

Thanks for the recommendation Iconoclast, I wanted to get down with the GLADIO topic at some point and this seems to be the perfect starter. :thup:

In the same context: I hear that Daniele Ganser's NATO's Secret Armies: Operation GLADIO and Terrorism in Western Europe makes an excellent read.

book sounds interesting!
until i saw the doc, i had completely forgotten that they had quite a problem with terrorism in italy in the 80's and before.
now the ways and means of how we all became good pro-USA capitalist countries here in europe seem much clearer.
 
Only got turned onto Operation Gladio recentley, will watch this documentary soon. I was pointed in this direction from starting to read "The Secret Team" (realise a lot of you will know this book, but if not, totally worth checking out as a starting point for looking into CIA workings and black operations, coming from the horses mouth, so to speak.)

So then I stumble across this recent article that might be of some interest to some, possibily related to Gladio but not entirely sure. I'm sure there's more to it than the article pertains to, but at least it's covered, to some degree.

Thank you Iconoclast will watch the documentary but after reading the book by Daniel Ganser.
