I've been having this same dream for several years now. I remembered today that I had it not long ago, but unlike other times, I didn't remember it right away.
I'm in a city, it's daytime, and it's more like summer than winter. Suddenly, in the distance (the view is somewhat clear), on a hill or at the top of a street, soldiers appear. They form a kind of band, and I understand that they're not there to joke around and that I have to escape.
And then, at that precise moment, I head off in the opposite direction. It seems that more soldiers are in other places, which narrows down my options.
I've had this dream several times; I've gotten used to it and become familiar with this "emergency situation": since then, I understand that when the soldiers arrive, there's one way out—but only one. It's quite strange. I think there are others, but the main point is that I've made the wrong choices every time. I have been able to refine so that I now remember what not to do. Let me explain: in a situation like this, a person might think the best thing to do is hide in a cellar, or in a house nearby. Over time, I realized that was a mistake and that I absolutely had to get out of the city. If I remember correctly, when I go to hide in a house, a cellar, or anywhere else, the soldiers "find" me.
Lately, the solution has been to throw myself into a river and swim away. That works as an option.
Anyway, sorry for the description. So basically, it's about a sudden appearance of soldiers who imprison people in a city. I remember one of those dreams where it ends in a prison camp. Those soldiers aren't good people.
Has anyone else had this dream? Since it happens regularly, I tend to internalize it as a premonition, or a real event: if I wanted to interpret it, I lack perspective. This dream worries me.
