While many of us here are expecting The Wave – this particular wave has already arrived.

Maybe there is something symbolic about the arrival of the wave of immigrants in Europe at this time.

Now let's take a look at the refugee mayhem in Germany as it unfolds.

Austrian police are leading asylum seekers from holding areas in Salzburg to the German border at Freilassing.

Well, how many are actually are "riding the wave"?

According to Germany's Federal Office of Migration and Refugees (BAMF) 104,460 asylum seekers arrived in Germany in August, bringing the cumulative total for the first eight months of 2015 to 413,535.
Then German Federal Police (Bundespolizei) have counted a record 273.000 people flooding into the country only in September taking the number to 686.000 on October 1.
That was following Chancellor Merkel's controversial decision on September 5 to allow refugees unregistered from Hungary to Germany.
Additionally authorities are estimating another 290.000 people coming to Germany unregistered that they have lost track and count of.
That would take the number of immigrants or asylum seekers to roughly a million for the first three quarters of this year so far.

The numbers for October are not yet in, but SPD party's parliamentary leader Thomas Oppermann told ARD Television's "tagesthemen" on November 2 that of all refugees streaming into Germany currently about 40 % remain unregistered.

While most of the immigrants are arriving in Bavaria, most of them are then distributed by busses and trains to other federal states according to a special ratio.

In many places there is a shortage of basic supplies. Cots, portable housing containers and chemical toilets are largely sold out. There is a shortage of German teachers, social workers and administrative judges. Authorities in many towns are worried about the approaching winter, because an estimated 42,000 of asylum-seekers are still sleeping in tents.

Bavaria's interior minister Herrmann told the press that he suspects that there are thousands of immigrants about in Germany that authorities have no knowledge of.
He knew of refugees that had disappeared overnight from reception centers trying to make their way through Germany on their own.
He insisted that refugees that had not filed for asylum were illegal aliens in Germany and that he could not tolerate what he called "refugee tourism" in this country.

Many refugees quite clearly are not acquainted with the law of the land, having different sets of values and different ways of living.
Quite often the values of their culture clash with the values of the Western culture around them.

Some of them are actually introducing the concept of anarchy to Germany.

A special train carrying 518 refugees from Munich to Berlin on Tuesday, September 15 arrived in Berlin with 179 passengers missing. It turned out that the train, which was 18 minutes late, had been stopped two times along its way by passengers applying the emergency brakes.
A spokeswoman for the Berlin city administration told the press that there could be several reasons for refugees acting that way – either they know people in the area or they fearregistration on arrival at the station, while they rather prefer to travel on to another country.

Passengers on a refugee train on its way from Passau to Düsseldorf have applied the emergency brake at Cologne and left the train. Rail traffic on Sunday evening November 1 descended into chaos.
The incident had put on hold 55 trains which had piled up a delay of 1,500 minutes, Federal Police told Rundschau newspaper. Since the train had been stopped on a high speed track and passengers had got out and were moving about, the complete railway line had to be closed down.
For security reasons police had to search the tracks to make sure the line was cleared from people, before rail traffic could commence. It was not clear how many people had left the train or who might have applied the emergency brake.

Two men (aged 21 and 36) had a stopped a train by emergency brake at Partenstein near Würzburg on November 1, got out and made off.
They were detained by police some time later. It turned out that they were illegal immigrants and they were turned over to a refugee reception center. http://www.radiogong.com/news/regionalnews-aus-mainfranken.html?content=notbremse-maenner-sonntagnachmittag-zug&singleID=44872

Asylum seekers are increasingly using tactics such as hunger strikes and threats of violence in efforts to force German authorities to comply with their demands.
Many migrants, unhappy with living conditions in German refugee shelters, are demanding that they immediately be given their own homes or apartments. Others are angry that German bureaucrats are taking too long to process their asylum applications. Still others are upset over delays in obtaining social welfare payments.

"Human traffickers and the media in their home countries are making promises that do not correspond to reality." — Hans-Joachim Ulrich, regional refugee coordinator in Hamburg, said.
The migrants said they were angry they were being asked to sleep in a huge warehouse rather than in private apartments. Hamburg officials say there are no more vacant apartments in the city. "The city lied to us. We were shocked when we arrived here," a Syrian refugee said.

The German tabloid "BILD" recently gave an overview of false claims smugglers are spreading among potential customers:
In Beirut rumors were spread that Germany would send passenger ships to collect refugees from Syria. Everyone would get a visa and German citizenship on arrival. Hundreds of people were gathering at the German embassy only to find out the sobering truth.

Smugglers in Afghanistan were claiming that Germany had reserved 800,000 places for accommodation for Afghans alone. Subsequently thousands were applying for passports. In actual fact Afghans are less likely to be given asylum in Germany.

In Turkey and along the Balkans refugee trail there are rumors that every refugee would receive 2,000 euros as a reception benefit and would be allowed to bring along his or her whole family immediately.

Refugee smugglers in Kosovo and Albania are telling people that the German government would give a house to every refugee. Everybody who would not be happy in Germany could automatically receive a visa for Canada.

Heinrich Trapp, the Dingolfing-Landau district administrator told "Bayern 1" Radio that he deplored a lack of commitment among asylum applicants as far as integration was concerned:
"We've experienced that the willingness to exert themselves among adult refugees is low. Their participation in German language courses is frustrating."
Trapp mentioned a pilot scheme that Dingolfing-Landau administrative district and BMW are organizing.
There are 2,000 job openings at a new BMW logistics department to be put into operation in July. 20 jobs were to be reserved for asylum seekers. There were no applicants that had the necessary requirements or willingness, Trapp explained.
He was afraid that many refugees had unrealistic expectations.
"Many of them seem to believe that in Germany everybody is rich, has a job, an apartment and a car. They often have the notion that we were waiting for them, ready to create the prequisites that they envisage."

Not only the downtrodden and impoverished are making it to Europe:

The unbelievable sum of 120,000 euros was paid by an Afghan family to a refugee trafficking operative for their journey to Germany reported German Federal Police at Munich Airport. A couple aged 35 and 33 and their three children arrived last tuesday from Dubai and applied for asylum.
The 35 year old Afghan told police that they were politically persecuted in their home country.
That's why they ordered facilitators to organize their trip, including false passports and airline tickets to London, via Dubai and Munich.
At Munich airport the family disposed of their false papers at the lavatory and went to see custom officials. Investigators found fragments of the family's passports later on. http://www.pnp.de/nachrichten/bayern/1853168_Afghanische-Familie-fuer-120.000-Euro-nach-Muenchen-geschleust.html

Lost your Syrian passport? Don't worry. Dutch journalists can tell you how to get a new one:
Journalist Harald Doornbos managed to get his hands on a genuine Syrian passport displaying a photo of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. All it took was one phone call and a 40 hour wait. “All you need is the telephone number of one of the many passport forgers and 750 euros.”
Since the outbreak of the Syrian war, thousands of blank passports and the Assad regime’s printers have ended up in the hands of Sunni insurgents, according to Revu. These insurgents will sell passports showing any photo given to them to anyone willing to pay. In Walldorf, a town in the state of Baden-Württemberg, a group of migrants demanded that local authorities immediately provide them with private apartments because they were tired of living in a refugee shelter with 200 other asylum seekers. The leader of the group, a 46-year-old refugee from Syria, said he expected more from Germany. It was high time for Germans to begin to "treat us like human beings," he said.

In Bad Kreuznach, a family of asylum seekers from Syria made an appointment to view a four-room rental property but refused to see the house because the real estate agent was female. According to real estate agent Aline Kern:
"One of the men, who spoke broken German, said they were not interested in viewing the property because I am a woman, I am blonde, and because I looked the men into their eyes. This was inappropriate. My company should send a man to show the property.
I was taken aback. You want to help and then are sent away, unwanted in your own country."

Who is twitter-luring refugees to Germany?
by Andrey Fomin
Content-analysis of a great number of tweets that triggered the ongoing wave of migration from Turkey to Germany since August this year suggests that these human streams were inspired and channeled from outside of the continental Europe. [..]
• Lovely people – video of Germans welcoming Syrian refugees to their community
• Respect! Football fans saying: “Welcome Refugees” across stadiums in Germany.
• Germany Yes! Leftists spray a graffiti on a train saying: “Welcome, refugees” in Arabic *

Andrey Fomin: As you see, only 6,4% of all tweets with #RefugeesWelcome”+Germany came from Germany itself. Almost half of them were originated from UK, USA and Australia! Looks like your remote planetmates are blushlessly inviting guests to visit your home without inquiring your opinion beforehand! Continue reading at http://www.voltairenet.org/article188774.html

The Saker offers a pessimistic view on the situation:
The EU cannot absorb so many refugees - The EU does not have the means to stop them

[..]The vast majority of these refugees are fleeing war, famine and abject poverty and there is no way anybody is going to send them back home.[..] Keeping them, however, is also impossible, at least in a cultural sense. For all the doubleplusgoodthinking propaganda about integrating all races, creeds and cultures the reality is that there is absolutely nothing the EU has to offer to these refugees to make them want to integrate.[..]
The level of aggravation suffered by many, if not most, Europeans directly resulting from this crisis in immigration is hard to describe to somebody who has not seen it. And since voicing such frustrations was considered as “racist” or “xenophobe” by the Powers That Be (at least until recently – this is progressively changing now), this deep resentment is mostly kept hidden, but it is perceptible nonetheless. And the immigrants most definitely feel it. Every day. And, again, this is why the notion of a US-style “melting pot” in Europe ain’t happening: The only thing Europe has to offer to all these hundreds of thousands of refugees is a silent hostility fed by fear, outrage, disgust and helplessness.
Even those locals who used to be refugees themselves in the past (immigrants from North Africa, for example) are now disgusted and very hostile to the new wave of refugees coming in. And, of course, not a single refugee coming to Europe believes in any “European dream”.

Last but not least, these refugees are a huge burden on the local economies and the social services which were never designed to cope with such an influx of needy “clients”.

For the foreseeable future the prognosis is clear: More of the same, only worse, possibly much worse.
