Ricky Gervais on Creationism (vid)

He is a talented screenwriter. I'm presently unable to listen to his commentary, but no doubt he makes some very valid points. That said, I have heard some of his comments in the past on other matters, and it seems to me as if he can be very closed-minded, such as to do with anything that can't be explained by conventional "mainstream" science (a very limiting thing). I get the impression he has made up his mind about many issues, and refuses to do the research which would inevitably lead him to think otherwise. I think he'd be better off sticking to acting and writing.

I agree. I have seen the rest of that video and really thats the best bit. I know that he says hes and atheist, so yeah, probably quite closed minded, but it can be hard to tell with someone like Gervais because half his joke is acting closed minded and ignorant. To be fair I don't know very much about him, I just thought that clip was funny :)
