Rolling Stones of Mars …

This is what started this story, I read this article and my wild mind took over … it made me looking into the same that happens here, like in death valley and the ‘Sailing Stones’. I took this to Mars as there are many that even show on Google Earth, look for yourself. I added a soul intent as I know they have them and added a bit of imagination to wondering where were they all heading … I needed some humor, so this is what I wrote, the ‘Rolling Stones of Mars …’

Rolling Stones of Mars …

You ever think of this, they say Mars is a dead planet … maybe it’s just that they aren’t looking in the right place for life.

Yes, those walking, slithering and crawling have passed on or left, but there is so much more that’s here. Souls are everywhere, it’s just that the ones that remained had to be able to live on a world so unlike what it was before. You couldn’t breath air, and you had to live with radiation, sand storms and impacts by the space travelers. I’m talking about the rocks and the boulders, they have the ability to live here now the atmosphere has mostly left and they do have a soul. Some are young and very new to this kind of life, but the majority have been here for ages.

Since all of us look quite the same, it was impossible to just look at one and tell right away what they were. You see we all have a stone rating, not what were made of but at what grade you belong to. Here on Mars we have three grades, the first, second and third grades. Off world is where you find the higher grades, sometimes you get to meet one as they fall from the sky. And it’s simple to tell us apart, just talk with them. The first grade souls speak little, if they do it’s with single words and they may have no cohesion to the conversation being held. Second grade souls have a little better understanding but they are known to speak in two word sentences, quite often you have to see through their talk to decipher it. The third grade souls are the best, speech comes naturally to them, although some that do start can’t seem to shut up.

Can you hear them? I doubt it, they speak at such a low frequency that you wouldn’t be hearing them. Then it would only sound like scratches and thumps without some kind of translator. So for now you’ll just have to accept thought’s of those that follow ‘The Path of the Stone’ … as it’s called.

Scarlet Hiddrolite, she was one of these souls, a third grader that has now traveled 18% or the planet surface. You ask how is this to be? Well you start with using the winds, Mars has a lot of winds, but without a driving force, you can only go where the winds take you. But as you advance you find you can use the winds, like tacking in a ship as you go aside the wind. Then there are those that need naught the wind, they can roll all by themselves with a purpose. Like Scarlet here, she’s heading to the next ‘Rock-Jam’.

This is the event of the century and only happens once a century, it actually takes that long for most rocks to get to the next site. All you got to do is follow the path of the others to get there. Didn’t you ever wonder why all the stone trails go the same direction.

The nice thing is that you meet all your friends out there on the way to the next location. Like Triatium there, he has his son with him, a real chip off the old block, you can still see where he came off him right there. Astreanium, she’s always alone because she just will not stop talking, the first and second grade souls seem to be mesmerized by her, good for them.

Then you get the outworlders, since the atmosphere is thin here, many ground out here. There the ones that look like Swiss cheese and consider themselves Holy. If they just didn’t make such big holes for us to fall into … it’s like they’re aiming for our paths … you should try to get out of one of those, makes for a trapped audience for the holy ones for sure.

This Rock-Jam is just north of the scar this time, the headliner is Mich Jagged of the Stones with Joan Jepson and the Hartstone Breakers starting the show this time. Secondary stages have Allen Stone who does soul and R&B, the Rock City Angles for those aged stones and of course we have Sly and the Family Stone, the Stone Temple Pilots and the Stone Roses. Finishing out this Jam is Kid Rock right before we march onto the northern pole zone for the next jam.

And Scarlet made sure that she had a chisel this time so if she see’s anyone like last time she can have them chip her. You know like Sharon Stone, Tom Crusite, Chris Rock or that young stone Demi Rosequartz. But that all depends if they make it here in time … just saying this she needed to do the same and get going, she doesn’t want to be called a lopsadite. Ta-Ta for now.

So next time you see one of these, you’ll know, their just on their way to another Jam, and if you see one going the wrong way, please point it out to them, thanks. Haiku …
