Rumours and dreams about Putin

All's well.

Commenting on the rumours about his health, Mr Putin said "things would be boring without gossip", RIA Novosti news agency reported.

I guess it is time to send more letters of love and support to Putin!!! I just sent mine!

So did I. I also thanked him for all the work that he has been doing. Here's to Putin! And thanks, Laura, for leading the way. :)

Good to see the man back! And now on a lighter note:

This morning we find massive Russian military exercises throughout the country. Highest combat alert. This activity I think gives clue to what Putin may really have been doing during his extended absence. And it's not good.

We know from experience military drills can have differing purposes:

A ho-hum kind of exercise (the best case.)
A cover for false flags (all too familiar.)
A highly public signaling aimed at deterrence (This may be your blow back.)
A plan for limited attack (we will strike this ... but go no further.)

These drills are in the news and verifiable. They are serious. I just don't know which of the above will result.

I'm of course praying for the best.

FWIF, the currency and stock markets are presently acting like it's just another day in the park. But that could be expected -- if greed is truly blinding.

Hmm...sorry if I missed it, but do you live in Russia, sitting? If so, are you Russian? Your English is so good. If not, than I wonder in what country you may have Russian military doing exercises so freely and massively.

Ok, I checked, and yep, Russia is busy doing military exercises all over the country, including Crimea. What's actually funny about this, is West's reaction to those exercises. Russia doesn't really do anything threatening, as it has all the right to do what ever it wants on its territory. It's indeed possible that it is a reaction to NATO's military drills, in this case, they are the ones that were acting disingenuously first. In any case, it seems like Putin simply shows that Russia isn't toothless and can defend itself if needs to. Besides, it has a feel of the Donald Cook incident on the larger scale. And we all remember how that went. ;)

Another interesting moment was the famous Donald Cook episode: as it occurs those were not the Russian jets that scared DC's crew. It was actually the new system that Russia delivered to Crimea when NATO ships headed towards the Black Sea: the Bastion complex. Putin says it is unique and the most effective shore defence system existing. And so when Bastion switched on its ultrasonic Monolite radar station, DC quickly retreated. When asked about the jets, Putin smiled and answered that it was actually "unauthorized hooliganism" on the part of the pilots.

In ANY serious country army exercise is normal. Any serious army, just as Russian are, have some exercises on its territory almost in continuity. Soldiers (ordinary young men not paid professionals/mercenaries as in US army) need that to now their army specialty and to stay in shape.

Maybe you are puzzled why the Russian army held exercises on its own territory and not in foreign countries like US army do? That’s another story. :)

From RT: Hornets’ nest: Massive drills across Russia, 20 ships in Baltic - http://rt.com/news/241745-russia-offensive-defense-drills/

Russia is getting ready to counteract and repel land-sea-air military aggression on its western, northern, southern and eastern borders simultaneously, as massive drills of all military branches are underway across Russia.

Motorized infantry, combat aviation and Spetznaz troops have been put on alert in all nine time zones of the Russian Federation, including the Volga region, Urals, Western Siberia, the Far East region and the Pacific, the North Caucasus and along the borders of NATO member states from the Arctic through to the Baltic and Black Sea.

The ongoing snap check of the military involves about 76,000 troops, over 10,000 units of military hardware and special equipment, 65 battleships,16 support vessels, 15 submarines, 200 warplanes and helicopters.

from the same RT article

In December 2014, Russia's Defense Ministry announced plans to conduct at least 4,000 military drills in 2015.

that is about 10 per day.

I apologize for not making myself more clear.

I interpret these Russian combat alert exercises as signifying option 3: A highly public signaling of sorts -- aimed at deterrence. I interpret Putin's absence for the 10 days prior as closely linked to these maneuvers. Which if true, gives them added urgency. But of course I have no way of knowing for sure. But as they say ... when there is smoke ...

The Saudi oil weapon (being used for second time now) is basically an act of war. Somewhere somehow I believe the Russians will respond. Putin essentially said as much in his meeting with Bandar 2 years ago.

My post, rather than complaining about these exercises, was intended to point out we might be closer to "NOW" than we think.

I hope this helps.

Now they are talking about the Post-Putin era.
There is a big pressure to get this man away.

I also had a dream about Putin last night... he was teaching me how to hunt a rabbit with my new air rifle and prepare it to eat. I woke up feeling totally calm and happy after speaking with him.
