well, i guess i'm going to reveal my super-secret identity... oh no!

:P

i recently finished putting a CD together, and it was a super fun project to take part in - though it took a long time!

the title - "scratch pop hiss" was born out of the quality of the recording and the style of the music. as i continued to work on putting the tracks together with my abysmally sub-standard equipment, i noticed its increasing resemblance to an old vinyl recording. if you like gypsy/roma/eastern european music, jazz, django-style swing, and stuff like that, it's a quantum possibility that you'll enjoy it nonetheless :D

and after having been on here (SOTT) for a little while, i feel a growing sense of affinity with all the other forum members here - this music is part of "who i am", so in the interests of sharing with my friends, i thought i'd post it...

have fun! ... and don't be shy to dance a little if it occurs to you ;)

Oh, cool!

Great! I always like this approach... I grew up calling this style of recording "low-fi". Guided By Voices is a rock band that uses 4-track analog tape recorders, etc.

Awesome!!

Soper Duper sound :-)

J'espere bien aussi qu'ils "vont trouver un nouveau chemin"
