Seeing a lot of 4's

Sometimes I wait too long to post something and then it becomes a bit dated, but I want to share this in case anyone experienced something similar. This was about two weeks ago, so around March 2nd. That week I kept seeing the number 4 on clocks mostly, but other things too. It got to the point where it was annoying me, like, "Not another 4 again!" I'd see 13 a lot, which adds up to 4.

I was thinking about the 40 days mentioned by the C's. And also 4th Density. But it could really just be the fact that statistically 10% of the numbers you see will be a specific individual number. Like I alluded to in the first sentence, this has now passed and I don't really see 4 anymore. If anything, it seems now it's the number 6 that is popping up.

But I figured I'd mention it if anyone had something similar. Might just be pattern recognition run amok. But FWIW.

Hi 3D Student, well you are not alone, i remember too that about 2 -3 weeks ago i started to see the number 11 on clocks mostly, but i saw it on commercials, street numbers and so on, i see it everyday at least couple of times a day, it may be pattern recognition run amok, though it's curious that i'm not the only one who noticed this phenomena recently.

Hi 3D student. I also know this phenomenon pretty well. For years I've been haunted by the number 32 more or less and my best friend by the number 23. Although it sometimes plays a role in events and relationships, that are meaningful to me, it could be coincidence, a subjective fixation, pattern recognition running amok. The truth ist there are many numbers popping up every day but none of them stick out to me unless its 32. So it seems my mind is drawn to a cerain timing or rhythm. What is the psychology behind this? Why am I drawn to this number 32 and why are you drawn to 4?

On the other hand reality also seems to follow certain patterns, rhytms and cycles using symbols and synchronicities that look like signs of consciousness to me. Is it some kind of macro-consciousness in which our minds participate more or less consciously? I can imagine that it is possible for some people to interpret the signs and symbols around them, patterns and cycles of reality/macro-consciousness in a usefull way. This might be the ability of a true seer, someone who is tuned in somehow. But I am very careful with this, because it's hard to separate fact from fiction, to not fall in the trap of wishful thinking. I always try to keep an open mind and at the same time to be most critical about everything. If you see or feel something out of the ordinary it's best to share it with others and get multiple perspectives on the phenomenon in question.

I also like movies like Interstellar and The Arrival.

The first thing that comes to mind is that this is the result of pattern recognition. You subconsciously ascribe meaning to a certain number, and then whenever you see it in your surroundings, your brain alerts you, making you consciously aware of it.
However, I've myself had this happen numerous times over the years; I would see a certain number combination everywhere I went for a period of time; and it would "stack" itself so much within one day, that it became hard to believe that my subconscious was just "cherry-picking" it and blocking out other numbers, especially when I started to consciously pay attention to each and every number that I came across. There were times when one number pattern was occurring much more frequently or to the exclusion of any other, so there might be the possibility that it could be a subconscious "message" to yourself, and the question then remains how to interpret it to your own benefit.
