Semiotics

I think it would be interesting to dedicate a thread of this section to semiotics, the macroscience of signs as currently all we receive many inputs of this kind in our daily lives and especially the advertising, experts say that every day more.
Semiosis or semeiosis is the process that forms meaning from any organism's apprehension of the world through signs.

Advertising and the media inundate us with messages and images often subliminal to consume but also to not think to keep us asleep

I'll just leave a link here (_http://vigilantcitizen.com/?p=3571) from a site that i really think is not very good at seeing our reality as it is, but this introduction to semiotics in advertisement is ok i think.

Perhaps it will not had nothing new, it will be like raining where it is already wet, but it could get the ball rolling.
