Severe G4 Geomagnetic Storm, Aurora Outburst March 17, 2015

I have found this video where it is presented the cause of recent earthquakes and the aurora phenomenon observed farther south.

A Severe G4 (Kp=8) Geomagnetic Storm is in progress in response to a Strong Filament Coronal Mass Ejection & positive CH influence! This is the strongest geomagnetic storm of the current solar cycle. The Filament CME Impacted Earth @ 04:00 UTC and was Clocked going by at 1.9 Million Mph. It Arrived 17 hrs ahead of schedule. Earthquake Watch is in effect due to heavy magnetosphere compression and the high likely-hood of a Geomagnetic Re-connection event of the Earth's Magnetosphere in the turbulent wake of the CME!

Maybe these effects are due to larger (than previously seen) bodies discharging the solar capacitor?

the author notes that, before the big CME there were auroras each day since the 12th of March, so there was a huge ongoing radiation bleed of charged particles days before the flare.
This might be important to know.

I have not seen an aurora since 1957. A long time between drinks..

I didn't know whether to post here but it's relevant to the recent cme. Since Monday I've been extremely tired no energy at all. A number of people at work have commented feeling the same way. I can barely stay awake after the day at work. I was wondering the same thing could this be the effects of the cme??

The Solar flare discussed above dates back to March. However there was a severe G4 magnetic storm that hit Earth on June 22nd and a CME is supposed to hit Earth today (24th). You can check the magnetic activity of the Sun here).

FWIW, a few of my family members (including myself) have been feeling pretty wiped out the past couple of days, and also had difficulty sleeping last night. My mom brought this to my attention yesterday (the magnetic storm Pierre mentioned above):

In the last week (June 22nd 2015 - Winter Solstice here) there have been reports of aurora australis in the southern skies. I have not sighted the auroras, but both my wife and I have been suffering extreme pains in our thumbs such as we get if we are changing altitudes (osteo-arthritic) when the pressure in the joint-bones is changing.
That lasted a couple of days but it has eased off now.
