I just watched this short (35 min) documentary called "Sexy Inc.; Our Children Under Influence". It's a critical look at the hyper-sexualized culture that children are being exposed to at younger and younger ages and some speculation on how it affects them. It also looks at the sexualization of children in the media. The discussion gets quite graphic at certain points, just to warn. No real surprises in it, but I feel it's worth a watch.

Thanks for starting this thread, it was worth the watch. I was slightly disappointed to see that it didn't draw lines to pedophelia, though. I suspect that sexual predators play a big part in this so-called hypersexualization. The doctor who comments in the documentary says "It's hard for young people to set limits as to what healthy sexuality means". Surely, it's hard for adults, too then. Because it is grown men and women who tolerate, sometimes encourage the existence of child beauty pageants & Disney Channel / Nickelodeon sit-coms.
