Sharing poetry...

This was obviously done at the beginning of Corona when it wasn't known how dangerous it was or wasn't...

What I like about it is the message of collaboration

This is another one by the same poet. There are no choices without chances...

Powerful...
This is amazing ❤️ Was looking for a poetry thread to share a poem that came to mind, would it be okay SOTTREADER to put one here? Was goin to put one one a new thread but saw this was already here for sharing poetry so thought maybe here instead if that's alright, or start another one.. Wasn't sure. Anyway Thanks

Yeah, please do 😊

A poem. Thanks for the thread and being okay with me posting here SOTTREADER, it's not really ever finished.. Just some thoughts put into rhymes. This is about how things might be put in place in a negative way at times of change or transition when people make the decision to change for the positive, or do work that benefits others, or kind of about what might happen to those who make the choice to live in a positive/STO way and how things may deflect or block them from this.
Also about some lessons of life and what they taught me. Poem or any stuff i do is inspired by Laura's work and all the things related to it, so thanks for that always 🙂

(this goes on a bit long). .

Alone who can stand

Even those who are strong

In this darkened land

Where a seed when planted

How does it grow

Just becomes stunted

Twisted and low

It's not always

The easiest thing

To follow the right way

So I had to pray

To make better choices

And hear better voices

So I could live in a place

Where a soul could grow

But It's not always the

Easiest thing

With a mind programmed

To be worrying

It's not always easy

To see the light

When hunted by thieves

Who take delight

In our misery

Throughout history

Since then we have

Been messed up by their lies

It's a mystery

For our history

How they have been

A messin with time

I asked myself why

I kept on failing

And found it so hard

In this life to find joy

Whenever I thought

That I was prevailing

I could not

No matter what

Work I deployed

She said you were hurt

And became distorted

So they could play

With you like little toys

Then you chose the dark ways

Those that then may

Have led you to lives

Where you could be destroyed

She said be kind to others

As they too have been hounded

No one is perfect

Try not to forget

Understand that they too

Have been wounded

She told me to be good

Or you may regret

I saw then that

I'd created conditions

Through all of

My bad attitudes

Like a radio station

With the old renditions

That just keeps on playing

The same bad old tune

So many times

We had been mistreated

Outnumbered, many times

And this was repeated

And then the damage

Turned into their fuel

When hurt by those

Who were mocking and cruel

And sometimes they weren't

It was in the perceiver

With all those thoughts

From my old receiver

She said learn to discern

From these things

That attack you

Like who lurks

In the cracks

Of this old town

But be there for those

Who have defend you

And see truth behind those

Who do you down

How I hope now

I understand more

As how many times

Have we been here before

And i remember

Alone way back when

Each battle we fought

Was lost in the war

As each time

I tried to defend her

They kept hurting the one

That I adored

But somehow with faith

It turns back around

It's like the weapon

On the battleground

This way I remember

What they did to me

And turn my pain

Into harmony found

Like these lessons they brought

Something more profound

The hurt turned to mortar

That builds solid ground

With faith somehow

It turnes back around

Those hurts turned to bricks

That will build solid ground

These lessons they brought

Me to a place

With trust and faith

To find will to fight

Change and then learn

From dark i turned

After all these long years

Back to the light

That is a really great piece of poetry. I like the style of it, thanks for sharing it:)

Just like to share a daily kind of meditation or kind of prayer thing, when I feel like the world is really getting too me, I do these rhymes to cheer myself up. They usually go along these lines, but it's never the same each time..

Sometimes when I find it hard to get through the day

Find it hard to face

life as I'm pretty inept

At filling in forms and facing the norms

Of this world of which unfortunately we have to confirm

I have taken the habit to pray
And she says

Stay positive now to keep the signal clear

Stay positive and keep your good thoughts near

And as Chucky D from Public Enemy says - "Stand up and feal no fear"!

"Stand up and show you really care!"

Stay positive instead of counting the cost

Be grateful instead of focusing on loss

Remember all your ancestors and what they went through to get us here

So remember their love and all you hold dear

And stop the worry, stop the stress

Don't be in a hurry and be patient to bring out the best

Get the balance between work and rest

And even though this world can bring you down

You have to be aware of what is available for now

As your happiness lies in the small moments of life

And step by step you can find the strength to fight

And endure

As eventually you will find the cure
So keep your heart pure

With positive energies

That will defeat your enemies

And now your courage you have cought

Only if you apply what is taught here

So stay positive to keep the good spirit near

Stay light hearted and brave
And if at all possible be well behaved..

Stay strong even if the road is long
And try to be the change you want to see
To lead a life of sanity

And to move from serving self to serving others

Sending positive thoughts to you all of our sisters and brothers

And I said
Thank you to the Universe for all you have given this day

She said that change isn't aways easy to accept
But know with patience and hard work that you can redirect

To the energy of positivity.
Only with help from our soul family

To keep going in the right direction

To find the protection

And then to a place where harmony is found

No matter how much this place brings you down

And clean your home as it's in a state
And for all the good things say how much you appreciate!

As the C's say patience pays and haste makes waste

I'm like, but I don't even know how to copy and paste
Or drive, but I'm still healing and have survived..

And sometimes life ain't so great
But I keep the faith

And know i need to stay positive

Even though it's not always easy to hear

But i try, to keep the signal clear

And it doesn't matter if this sometimes repeats

Just keeping goin and never admit defeat
It doesn't have to be perfect

But if I keep trying eventually it will be worth it..

Just Keep learning and knowing
Keep sewing the good things

And welcome the new that life brings
Even if change can be so challenging
..
Let go the old, be prepared to change and to grow

To be better than before

And when you hear negativity just ignore
Cause its just a chore

As you know that we're gonna win this war

And be grateful as right now I'm cooking a free range organic joint of roast pork

As Sam Wise the brave says,

From JRR Tolkien in Lord Of the Rings
"There is some good left in the world and it's worth fighting for!" .. :)

Anyway it goes on and on and on. . Or something like that. Happy diarrhoea! (As someone once said about the stuff I write LOL true i thought).

This one is about the pain that is felt from the damage that has been caused by the ruling elites. This one's a bit more full on, Sometimes I feel so much rage at what they have done that I have to turn it into a poem or song something or I'm not sure what I'd do, it definitely wouldn't be good. . . This a song

Here's to all the super rich and whatever

All the ones that think they are so clever, the lie tellers, buy low high sellers

I remember

Rhyming all those years ago about them when i was younger,

And before their various works

Caused so many hurts

We could always see what they were
What they did all the while

Could see they have this really cheesy style

Like Tony Blair, and we were aware that him and all those well, they just don't care

And hoped that some day they would reap what they sow

After all these years of putting us down and stopping us grow

For their own gain they caused us so much pain

And we can see though the lies like the driving rain

That is falling outside my window,

And it should be warmer but it's windy and cold

And no matter what they will do they will loose

As we still have the power to choose

There are still people who have faith

Who have gratitude and have grace

And laugh at the extreme length of old Rockefellas pate

As these guys have created their own fate

And it is our free will to be free again and this they cannot change

All their efforts will amount to nill, i'twill be re arranged

All of the souls who drag themselves along each day in this world they have created..

The change to come will not be belated

It will be right on time as Karma is there to answer their crimes and it will reciprocated

As they have tried to destroy souls that are Divine

And have made sure that the truth was forgotten with time

And they just kept on taking, kept on faking

But the truth is out there for all to see

For those who are paying attention to reality

And through my rage at what they did to my family and those like us

I can see their machinations that created a certain history

Through the manipulation of regimes

Through all their plans and schemes..

From the way they have been separating
Us, yet creating their own teams

There is no trust in them now

And they will bring themselves down

From the city slums to the child slavery

Is ignited the will to act and find bravery

They will never keep us down no matter how much they lie

They will destroy themselves with their own weapons and things like AI

And their systems will be worth nothing
As they are so fragile

And short lived

Like a thin cheap veneer and eventually it will give

Under the weight if it's own lies
No matter how hard they try

As we pray, and the misery they have imposed against all of the souls
Will come back to them one day

It's not about blame but about justice
Like for whom the bell tolls as Metallica says

There come a time they'll fall and no longer have control and they can go and live in a council place

In a town called Yate, it ain't so bad, or somewhere like that

So don't be too sad
