Sunday July 27th 2014: Show #76: Israel - Global Pariah or Promised Land?

This week on SOTT Talk Radio your hosts will be discussing the ongoing conflict in Israel/Palestine and other major recent events in world news. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the world's longest running conflict, yet very few people know its actual history, when and why it began and why it continues to this day. Even fewer have any understanding of how, because of the conflict, the state of Israel and its 'intelligence agency' the Mossad, has wielded and wields vastly disproportionate (relative to its size and population) power on the world stage and has thereby contributed significantly to the course of our modern civilization.

With their usual insightful (and sometimes controversial) analysis, your hosts Joe Quinn and Niall Bradley will be delving into this topic and other major events of the last few months including the recent spate of 'downed' commercial aircraft, the ongoing information war between the 'West' and Russia over Ukraine, and much more.

We hope you'll join us for your weekly dose of truth-telling from 2-4pm EST / 11am-1pm PST / 8-10pm CET, this Sunday 27th July, 2014.

Really looking forward to this show guys! I have been learning a lot from your excellent SOTT articles recently, and I am sure this show can help fill in many more gaps.

The Mossad motto, 'by way of deception thou shalt do war' seems to be an increasingly significant concept to understand in these rapidly changing times. Have a great show :)

Likewise, it's always great to hear SOTT's perspective on the latest events.

Yes! Second that! I really enjoyed the show with Miko Peled, looking forward to hear this show!

Also looking forward to hearing this show. I've learned a great deal from previous shows.
There's so much so amazing information on this & SOTT website.

Thank you

Great show Sottalk. Connected a lot of dots, from the crash of MH17 and the invasion of Gaza, to the banking system and the de-dollarization of international currency by the BRICS.
A definite must-listen-to.

Hey guys, great show as usual!
Connecting the dots is always interesting!

One issue I have with sott talk radio:

The microphones or mixing adds too much bass. It makes it hard to hear what they say sometimes.

I thought it was my speakers or sound card, but there's the same issue on headphones or when using my laptop or phone.

I have also turned down the bass a lot with equalizers/media players. Although it cuts the bass, it kills the detail from the original source. That's why I think it may be better to do this during recording instead.

I have listened to other shows on the computer/laptop and don't usually have this issue.

Keep in mind, bass really muddies vocals for me. Back when I would go to rock shows, it was very hard for me to isolate voices.

EDIT: I also realized the callers are easier to hear vocally than the hosts... they have almost no bass. So it makes me think that it is the bassiness of the microphones that kills the detail.

Good point on the bass.

42% psychopaths in state of Israel per C session: perhaps that answer needs to be broken down by questioning of % 'Jewish' vs % Moslem/Christian ...?
And/or European vs Arab etc.
Might be interesting. :O or not.

Great show guys!

I really like your sarcastic comments :) and pretended Pierre's naivety and ignorance :P

In fact it's the art to conduct the show talking about pretty serious topics along with keeping some distance. Bravo!

I completely agree. Had to laugh at some of the questions being asked by the devil's advocate.

And I always find Joe's sense of humor - well, humorous!

The more exposure to the work of the Sott team i have, the better i am becoming at deciphering a topic within the context of our world. As well as judging myself objectively. Rather than allowing my introject to run amok, i have some worthwhile characters - whom i have great respect - with which to contrast my own thinking and behaviours, and i find this very helpful.

As always Pierre makes a great interviewer and devils advocate!

I also find joe's 'final thoughts', where he brings it all together and speculates on possible scenarios or reasons, particularly interesting.

Thanks all for another great discussion. :)

I agree too! Great show guys - informative and entertaining, many thanks! :)

Who would have thought that Putin was responsible for so many historical conflicts and evil deeds!
