Silence in the House of God.

It depicts our "savior" Jesus rising from a nuclear crater
Although at one time I was an acolyte, that description hits the Bullseye.

Another interpretation that follows yours is that he is the Nuclear Bomb. There must be some truly messed up people in that State making these decisions. All the while the Masonic Brothers in France are using less radioactive means to "remodel the house".

Yeh, Masons love a good pyramid or two (I do too, I think they're a wonderful shape!)
Im shocked they'd butcher an old church like that... That must have cause some rifts within the brotherhood!

Its amazing how many shopping centres/malls feature a pyramid, usually of glass, somewhere in its design. Shopping centres are the new Houses of God now - cathedrals to consumerism to pay homage to the Material God of Commercialism.

DC Comics une a Jesucristo a los superhéroes con su propia historieta

Washington, DC.- A few days before celebrating Christmas, DC Comics has revealed that among its new releases for March 2019 is Second Coming, a comic focused on Jesus Christ.
The series by Vertigo Comics is written by Mark Russell and drawn by artist Richard Pace. The summary of the comic published on the DC Comics official website states:
Witness the return of Jesus Christ, to Him being sent on a very sacred mission of God to learn what is required to become the true messiah of humanity, becoming the floor partner of the world's favorite savior: the almighty superhero Sun -Man, the last son of Krispex! But when Christ returns to Earth, he is surprised to discover that it has been his gospel and, now, he intends to clarify things.
The first cover, illustrated by Amanda Conner, already hints at the humor with which the writer will try to clarify the messages of Christ.

FULL-LENGTH FILM

Viridiana was the co-winner of the Palme d'Or at the 1961 Cannes Film Festival.

Plot
A novice named Viridiana (Silvia Pinal) is about to take her vows when her only living relative, her uncle Don Jaime (Fernando Rey), invites her to visit him. She has met him only once and is reluctant to comply. Her mother superior pressures her to accept.

Don Jaime is a recluse living on a neglected farm with a few servants: Ramona (Margarita Lozano), her daughter Rita, and Moncho. When Don Jaime sees his niece, he is struck by her strong resemblance to his deceased wife.

On her last night Viridiana, grateful for her uncle's longtime financial support, reluctantly complies with his odd request for her to don his wife's wedding gown. When Ramona informs her that Don Jaime wants to marry her, she's aghast, and her uncle seems to drop the idea. Ramona secretly drugs Viridiana's drink and Don Jaime carries the unconscious girl to her room intending to rape her, but at the last minute he stops. However, the next morning he lies and tells her that he "took her virginity," so she cannot return to her convent. When she insists that she must go back, he confesses that he lied, leaving her uncertain about what had happened.

ASH WEDNESDAY Dir. Roberto Gavaldon.
The grudge and the terrible Catholic dogma that prevents the redemption of a woman.

---"If there was no Higher Being, the theists maintain, there would be no morality, libertinism would reign and we would be the same as animals.
---"Not everything is lawful, then God exists," suggests Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Because both opinions are wrong and science is confirming this: Morality and religion are independent things. "(From the article" Morality and Religion" of "Harmony Present")

plot:
""Ash Wednesday", directed by the great director Roberto Gavaldón, is for me one of the best films of Mexican cinema, a good drama with deep spiritual connotations. His argument is very intelligent, which, for the same reason, I will not tell, I will only confront the problem: the story is set in the 1920s in Mexico, a woman (Maria Felix) is raped by a Catholic priest and from that experience becomes enemy of the religion, especially of the priests, so it renders its services to the government to fight the cristeros and to end the religion. But a gallant (Arturo de Córdova), deeply Catholic, crosses in his life and awakens in her conflicting emotions that will jeopardize many of his beliefs, phobias and prejudices." From Angel Sanabria. Great religious drama of Mexican cinema.
