Sky Cam

Hello All

I've just bought a tiny cottage. It's great!

Anyway, I've installed a camera that scans about 130 degs of sky and the software to go with it.

What it does is film the night sky. If it detects movement it saves it and presents it as easily analysed files in the morning.

Got a couple of meteors so far and now it's forecast to be cloudy and raining for the best part of a month! Murphy's law!

Anyway if I catch anything interesting I'll share it with you.

Take care

Yes, congratulations on the cottage, sounds like it will be a perfect home for you.

Looking forward to seeing some of your night sky scannings too.

I have just been reading a little about the Leo constellation in Wiki, apparently it's visible in Australia (the southern hemisphere) in autumn, so that will be something to look forward to.
