Well, here in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan Canada, we've had really nice spring weather-no snow, 12-18 degrees celsius, hardly any snow, with unusually mild temperatures, last winter. Couldn't ask for better winter weather.
But that all changed today (Friday April 06). Temperature dropped to 0, rain this AM turned to blowing snow, and lots of it, this afternoon, with storm warnings.
But in this part of the world, it can't be considered too much out of the ordinary. The northern plains are known for this kind of march-april weather fluctuations.
Anyway it's supposed to climb to the high teens by next Thursday, so that's not too bad.
Anyway, we need all the moisture we can get.
Gotta keep growing that high-gluten, hybrid wheat, doncha know.
