Snow!

I doubt if it is normal this weather: we are in spring and it is snowing here (Spain). How come? Last week we had a temperature around 20 Celsius. Now snow. Is the Ige Age coming sooner than we thought? My, my,my. Is it snowing for you also? :O

HA, i think it's to be expected loreta,

It's like mama nature saying, you got a warm winter, now for a cold spring, ha interesting "cold spring" that was wholly unintentional, but i'll go with it. :D

Over here in Maryland, the temp has dipped it's been about 60F for the last couple of days, but i don't mind, the flowers are budding, the birds are chirping, essentially life is revealing it's refreshing vigour, a little cold only adds to the vivifyingness of spring. Boundless crystal clear blue skies, the glorious sun illuminating all, ahh, All is All.

Yep,
I am just back from a few weeks in Eastern Europe and had a couple of days of snow combined with a few days of hot and warn weather, talking about crazy weather, had it all!

Here in Italy we just had a few days where it reached almost 30degrees C (in march) and then it dipped down to round 11 degrees with chilly winds. It's slowly heating up again and we are in "normal" temperatures for the season.

Yeps. Just been out to get some lovely logs for the fire and what do I see and feel.Snow! Yes Im in Northern Europe , but we dont have snow 52 weeks a year as some folk believe.Well not up to now :)

Well, here in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan Canada, we've had really nice spring weather-no snow, 12-18 degrees celsius, hardly any snow, with unusually mild temperatures, last winter. Couldn't ask for better winter weather.
But that all changed today (Friday April 06). Temperature dropped to 0, rain this AM turned to blowing snow, and lots of it, this afternoon, with storm warnings.
But in this part of the world, it can't be considered too much out of the ordinary. The northern plains are known for this kind of march-april weather fluctuations.
Anyway it's supposed to climb to the high teens by next Thursday, so that's not too bad.
Anyway, we need all the moisture we can get.
Gotta keep growing that high-gluten, hybrid wheat, doncha know.

Here in Central US the weather has been wonderful.

Starting last October loads of mild days, sunny. Very mild winter and the earliest spring in memory. The lilacs are in full bloom, even the zoiza grass is coming up. That never happens before the first of May.

The spring birds are early as well.

If this pattern holds it could be a really hot summer rivaling the Great Depression years.

Slightly ominous seems to me.

Snow rarely stops the sheeple from their daily routine so I'm not too excited.

I think the Ice Age officially begins when we hit the 'point of no return'. That is, when Earth gets hot enough to permanently 'breach' the 'heat convection barrier' (just making up terminology here). I say that the hold-cold-hot-cold pattern will accelerate until we have summer and winter in the same day (or hour) - is that how the mammoth froze with food in its stomach?

Snow stopped but it is still in the mountains that surrounded us. I am preoccupied for the birds that came thinking that spring was here but now are in front of a strange cold. And I ask myself: when the Ice Age will hit us, what is the country more secure? I know this question is non-sense. :-[

Here in our BC valley, the snow finally melted, raked up the yard and before i could pick it all up we had a storm, another 15cm of snow. At one point it came down like silver dollars in size - have curtailed yard work for a bit.

Im from the midlands in England, i what i found very bizzare the other week was the big contrast in temperatures in such a small time. I walk every morning at around 4-5am, and this particular morning was very very cold and frosty, maybe even not far from freezing. The following day was very very hot. (for this time of year) I thought i was imagining it until a friend said the same thing. We then had snow a day or so later, although it didnt settle.

Edited - Spelling.

I'm from North-East of France and we have no snow, temperatures have been a little cooler but normal. We have a saying here in my area, that is : "Noël au balcon, Pâques aux tisons" = Christmas at the balcony, Easter in front of the fire

And I remember some years ago, we had a hot winter and there was snow at Easter. This year we had snow in winter and the weather now is one of the season.

Here in Japan unusually cold this Year. Temperatures in the night are falling to 2~3°C Day time very cold wind and 10~15°C.

Jim: This is KAOS. It's a beautiful, balmy, Southern California summer day.
It's 80 degrees ... I said balmy ... I could say bomby ... Ha! Ha! ...O.K.
I'm Jim and this is Radio KAOS and with only four minutes left to us, let's use this as wisely as possible.

Roger Waters "Radio KAOS"

It is wet dancing snow in East Germany.

Question: how they live in underground bases without rain and snow? ;)
