This has just happened where I am living at the moment. Heard the shots yesterday. Shocks me like all the other attacks, but hits "closer to home" due to it happening right down the road!
The script seems to be the same as usual. Young male of Afghan origin(=immigrants causing trouble) who doesn't seem "extremist"(people will become paranoid as they're conditioned to expect peaceful neighbors to suddenly turn into terrorists) attacks a group of people from Hong Kong(and not local Germans!) with an ax and knife and then proceeds to get shot by the police.
Of course "at least one witness" is claimed to have overheard him shout Allahu Akbar, and they've already found a self made IS flag in his home, along with a book written in Pashtu which is about Muslim resistance. IS is quick to claim responsibility but German news suspect that he's someone who "radicalized himself".
In light of the most recent session, I suppose it may be similar to the Nice incident?

(L) So, now I want to turn to world affairs. We just had a supposed terrorist truck attack in France. Was the guy in the truck a terrorist, or just some guy who was enraged and had blood on his mind?
A: Programmed by life experiences and reached his tolerance level.
Q: (Niall) He snapped.
