Something I don't understand

I'm new here and I'm reading the Wave as well as many threads on the forum. I'm very drawn to what I'm reading. I guess because I want to believe what I'm reading, but at the same time I'm harbouring doubts. What I don't get is how is it that these websites manage to stay up? It seems to me that if any of the material here touches any elements of truth, then it surely is a threat to those forces that would oppose dissemination of the information here. They would have us stay robotic and not 'awaken' in order to serve their purposes. The methods at their disposal for interference seem both endless and powerful.

Perhaps there is much more than I can know at the moment....but I'll keep reading :)

Keep reading the Wave and the forum and you will see that Laura, Ark and the SOTT team have been attacked many many times and how they manage to stay up. ;)

Let us just say that you started out in search of something / anything that would help you in your own personal search , that would help you understand the reason for your own confusion , that you were / are feeling about what passes for truth and reality in this world.

That would be close or aproximate to how most if not all of us have felt / feel.

For some reason , call it fate / luck / destiny you came across the work by Laura and suddenly you are reading the work and saying , oh my god , i can relate to this , this is strange.

well i can say personally speaking , it is for want of a better expression a godsend.

Oh the picture is as bleak in my mind as it always has been , but this time with a spark of hope.

As Gandalf says keep reading , this place is not trying to steal your soul and mind , it is to help each and every one of us to make a choice , and only you can make it.

Another way to look at it is perhaps "they" know that not everything or everyone can be controlled and so what "they" do is to neutralize or do damage control. "They" do this in many ways, like calling a group cult, apply the conspiracy theorist label, apply monetary pressure, censor your website from search engines, and so on.

Look at the main stream media and see how many link to SOTT news for example or take a look at how many alternative sites link to SOTT. That should tell you something. :)
