SOTT and CASS forum: An Act of Kindness

Lisa Guliani

The Living Force
Hello to All,

Right now I am feeling pretty overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation and wanted to publicly acknowledge a very selfless act of kindness and generosity extended to me by two members of this forum.

I am linking the corresponding Fb page here as it is directly related:
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151184268457799&set=a.197949967798.132075.641842798&type=1&theater&notif_t=like

I just want everyone to know that I am very grateful, appreciative and humbled by the kindness that has been shown to me by the members of this forum over the years.
There are those who make it their mission in life to attack the SOTT team and CASS Forum for the research, the Work and brutally honest discussion that takes place here. Sometimes, the mirroring discussion unnerves me too, but I know that the underlying - and overall - purpose to what goes on here is to help us all to see ourselves, to grow as human beings and to learn from one another, to expand our awareness and knowledge base, and to become the best people we can be. It makes me very angry to see this forum falsely accused of being a 'cult'. How can anyone even make such a ridiculous charge when this is an ONLINE discussion and research forum? How come we never see these accusers acknowledging the good works of SOTT and CASS? And there are many good works and acts of kindness - and they're not random.

It has not gone unnoticed by me that the acts of kindness and generosity that have come my way over the past several years have been extended pretty exclusively by members of this forum and the SOTT team.

And I want to thank "D" and "Neema" publicly here for this wonderful, wonderful gift and hope they understand and are okay with me doing this. I appreciate that they chose to take the time to build me a computer, knowing my computer has been giving me so much difficulty and I can't afford to replace it with a new one right now. They want me to keep on writing - and I will, but deep down, I feel a bit of guilt saying this because I think there are so many others out there who are putting out much better articles than the ones I've written - more hard-hitting expose-type stuff, and it makes me feel undeserving of such a gift from two people who have never even met me in person, but who care about me nonetheless and engaged in a very selfless, generous act of kindness. I intend to use this computer to help pay it forward. I only wish I were in a better position to do things like this for other people. It's so seldom that I can, due solely to my income level.

There are those who try like hell in an ongoing basis to paint an ugly picture in the public mindset about the SOTT team and this Cass Forum. I challenge those people to
cough up their solid proof of wrongdoing rather than their 'speculation' and mean spirited gossipy opinions - and in lieu of verifiable, solid proof, these attackers should just shut the hell up.

I may have missed some thread on this forum in which the goodness of CASS forum members is publicly acknowledged - and if so, please accept my apology for being remiss. But in case no such discussion thread exists, then let this be the first that stands as testimony to what kind of people are at the heart and soul of this forum and a very huge note of thanks for all they do, for who they are, and for the ways in which they help others - unsolicited.
No act of kindness should go unnoticed or unacknowledged in this world that seems to be filled with so much ugliness and evil.

This kindness, compassion and empathy extended toward me is but one example of applying lessons learned into life practice.
It is an example of strategic kindness and service to others.
It's an example of staying human in an increasingly inhuman world filled with badly wired people.

This forum tends to help bring out the best in some of us and the worst in some of us ( myself included), but this doesn't translate into its members being part of any 'cult'.

I thank you, "D" and "Neema" and 'whoever' else may have been involved in the giving of this gift.

Much love to you all - and again, my heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation for this expression of love and support.

I've been looking for the metaphorical silver bullet to pop that "cult" bubble for quite some time, but I'm beginning to believe the task is impossible. My best seems to be to point out the concept of "live" vs "dead" hypothesis William James presented (_http://educ.jmu.edu/~omearawm/ph101willtobelieve.html). Only, James still admits his hypothesis links to a pre-existing tendency. That tendency, I think, comes from family and cultural conditioning that 'biases' our organism at the limbic and R-Complex level.

Try to get the average person to accept that as a 'live' hypothesis, though! :)

It appears to me that writing is your gift.

They want me to keep on writing -[/quote]

Then someone must think that a fair exchange, no? I would do the same thing.

FWIW, I've really enjoyed all your writing--including this post! Thank you for sharing yourself.

Said it before and I'll say it again, the folks I've met through this forum rock. They're most kind, interesting, and global-thinking people I've met anywhere.

The only people who call us a 'cult' are the folks who's pathological, predatorial behavior is at risk via exposure. So when someone throws that epithet at this group you can bet your bottom dollar they're up to no good.

The only thing you may want to do Lisa is change their names above to their forum identities.

Glad you're going to keep on writing, I really like your articles! Keep em coming!

Write On Lisa! It is amazing how the Universe works for the benefit of those that work on behalf of the Universe!

I thank D and Neema, and Whomever else too! It is a gift that keeps on giving. I look forward to your articles, they inspire me to really think and show me Life from another perspective. I am glad to know that I will be reading more from you. I feel like I have been 'gifted' too!!

So, Write On Lisa...

Mod's note: Edited to replace the names by forum names.

FWIW Lisa, I really enjoy reading your articles! You've managed to take what goes on at your workplace and use it as fuel to write how this reflects larger trends sweeping across humanity.

And you mix in a bit of angst and righteous anger.

Keep 'em coming! (no pressure :))

I really appreciate your presence here Lisa. I missed your articles and participation in the forum when you were gone.
And boy, am I ever glad you're back writing those don't-pull-any-punches articles for sott and being involved in the forum.
You are a very real positive force for good in this screwed-up world.
Please, don't stop doing what you do so well.

You're very welcome Lisa :hug2:

Regarding the above, don't underestimate yourself, your kindness and your writing style Lisa. You have helped me and many others with your writing, and I'm sure you will go on to do so even more now.

We all do what we can with the means we're given, and I think the Universe/DCM sees that. It sees what's really in your heart and that's what matters.
And if/when you do have the means someday, you can pass the goodwill around to another person in need. That way it will keep going. Kind of like this video.

Also, it's true that we've never met irl but you know the saying "to be friends, we've got to be strangers first." ;)

Enjoy your new computer my friend, cause you DO deserve it! :flowers:

Much love and thanks to both of you, D. With such incredible support from the members of this forum, how can I - or anyone - fail?

You're all more than my friends here. You're my family.

Indeed, it's a great use of the anger that comes from living and working amongst zombies, I like your style.

Happy winter solstice Lisa :) .

And how all families would be in an ideal world. Maybe one day!

Sharing experiences, that's how people learn, and if one other person learns or benefits from that sharing, then its all worth it, OSIT.

Doesn't matter if 'not everyone gets it', either. Its in the doing, in the act of sharing, that the difference can be made. The form is not as important as the content, and the reason to share it...the 'why'. Laura's form ( or format) is books. Perceval blogs. Others write articles. You share your life and what you see/have seen. Its all building a community knowledge base, and that's much needed. Why would you think your experience is not enough?

I'm a writer too, and what I write about seldom gets shared here. That's changing, it hurts like the blazes because its going against a life time of operant conditioning, and other non-sense.

It is important that you know your writing is helping me with this fight. You've been through a lot of the same kinds of hells, and your work resonates, lifts me up, and keeps me clicking at my keyboard.

There is no need for guilt. There will be need to pace yourself. :flowers: Once that fire gets lit to write your fingers into soreness, that pacing part becomes important. ;D

A nice thread Lisa...The people on this forum do have a heart. Continue your writing. I've enjoyed reading your articles. The 4D puppets will always be out there with their cult-mongering. Let them come out of the woodwork, so we know exactly who they are I say. Other than that, keep up the good work and I look forward to future articles! ;D
