This looks serious to me. Israel seems to want to make itself judge, jury and executioner on the international scale... Hope they don't make a wwiii out of it. Prayers to all.

They've done this a number of times during the proxy war, even since Russia intervened. It's always the same; they get 'harsh words' in response, but no action. For now...

I noticed this event as well.

I think it was interesting and sick (and twisted) that the reported aircraft used in the operation was the infamous F-35. And I thought, only someone with zero empathy would test drive a war plane bombing another country.

I wonder if Trump's closet has been cleaned out fully, and if so, how that must scare some organizations for their lack of background leverage.

Not being a career politician hurts his short term knowledge, yet he's strings free. And he's not tied to the banking cartel, is he?

It's going to be interesting when he looks at the budget, and where and why the money is being spent.

Let’s pick a fight!

You should know by now that there are those that have it in their plans to do this, right here in this area, right now. If not this, then something else until someone reacts. How many times have they tried this before and failed? Sooner or later this will escalate. Then …
Haiku …

Maybe it was planned like some kind of suicide mission?

The Israeli airstrikes against the Syrian Arab Army comes just two hours after the suicide bombing that took place inside the Kafr Sousa area of Damascus.

The earlier bombing could have been a diversionary tactic to add confusion? As for the "infamous F-35", if it got shot down by Russian missiles, Israel didn't really lose much - it's defective equipment to begin with? That Israel would put one of it's own pilots in that position, is also troubling?

Plus, as usual, Israel took advantage of Russia pulling back some of it's forces.

The Russian General warned that in case any incident arises to halt the diplomatic settlement of the Syrian crisis, Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, the fighter jets on board and other accompanying warships will return to Syrian waters immediately.

Syrian President Assad has vowed "to reclaim - all of Syria" which includes the Israeli held Golan Heights. I speculate, Israel will learn of the repercussions when Damascus takes back the Golan Heights?

Damascus Vows 'Repercussions' Following Israeli Attack on Syrian Airbase
https://sputniknews.com/military/201701131049555029-syria-vows-response-to-Israeli-attack/

In the early hours of Friday morning, the Syrian Army reported that Israel had carried out missile strikes targeting the Mezzeh military airport southwest of the Syrian capital of Damascus. Syrian military command has since warned Tel Aviv that it may take retaliatory measures.

Several explosions rocked the area near the base in the municipality of Mezzeh, about eight kilometers southwest of Damascus. Later, the Syrian army confirmed that the precision missiles were launched in from the vicinity of the Sea of Galilee (also known as Lake Tiberias) in northern Israel, about 90 km southwest of Damascus, near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Following the explosions, a fire broke out in the vicinity of the airport. The Syrian side has yet to report on any possible casualties or of the destruction caused by the attacks.

The military also warned of possible "repercussions" to the "flagrant attack."

As usual, Israel Defense Forces have refused to comment on the attack.

The military airport was allegedly struck by a similar Israeli attack early last month, when several ground-to-ground missiles were fired from occupied Golan Heights area. In spite of the attack, Syrian Army Command stressed to SANA that it would continue its war on terrorism "until eliminating and cutting off the arms supporting it."

The Mezzeh military airport is an important transit facility for Syrian forces engaged in a war against terrorist insurgents. The airport has also been used to launch artillery strikes against terrorist-held areas of the Damascus suburbs, many of which have since been liberated.
