SOTT Email ended up in SPAM!!

Hi All,
The Mystery Message is being sent personally by Laura. For spamming and server reasons, she is sending them one chunk at a time from her computer. The server has a sending restriction, so she has to do small chunks of e-mail addresses once an hour. At this point, she is somewhere around 1/3 of the way through the list. So, if you didn't get it yet, do check your spam folders carefully. Otherwise, sit tight - it's coming!
These wonderful "Spam filters" are always a problem, especially for the SOTT.net E-mail Edition. We have signed SOTT up for every white list and "sender feedback program" that we can find, tweaked the content itself to avoid any problems there, and STILL the E-mail Edition is simply blocked by some servers. It is a neverending battle to simply get content that YOU have asked for into YOUR e-mail inbox. It really does seem like this whole spam thing is simply designed to make it easy to make messages disappear and to censor at will. It is very, very easy to be put on a spammer blacklist, and not very easy at all to get off of those lists - unless you're a giant corporation or mainstream media outlet, of course!
The same mechanisms are obviously at work with Laura's e-mail. There is nothing in it that I can see that should set off any red flags. So, if you find her message in your spam boxes, be sure to check "not spam" or "approved sender" or whatever it says. Every little vote helps!!

btw, If Laura and/or team saw my reply to her letter, I must stand corrected, just got off the phone with my parents: they had a terrible storm over there last night with wind speeds as strong as 140 km/h. They really thought the rooftiles were going to get stripped off! Luckily nothing was damaged, although some neighbour's old equipment was blown away by the wind. My parents know what a heavy storm is (we used to live near the coast in the Netherlands), but they never have experienced such a storm in their lives...
