Mr. Scott,

Y'all may have seen this already, but just in case there is a new notice published about a DOS attack vector on app servers and that includes PHP. The technique is causing many hash collisions in POST requests when parsing the parms into a hash table.

FYI:

I am monitoring the connection via command: mtr sott.net
which is available on linux. For me, the connection stops
at a major fiber router (38.104.103.46 [dns.cogentco.com])
which means sott.net connection does not exist, it is perhaps
"offline".

The power supply in the server failed. All better now!

Ok, it was momentary. Sott.net is now back up (at least for me!)!

I too was having no joy trying to access Societys Child and was just chucked out saying problems loading - connection reset. This was 30 minutes ago despite reading the tabs prior to that. Have just tried it again now and all is working again. Tempoary glitches?
