Sound of My Voice

This one sounds great and it is also co-written and featuring Brit Marling, who created one of my favorite films, Another Earth.

Christopher Denham stars as Peter, a journalist who, along with his girlfriend Lorna (Nicole Vicius), go undercover to investigate a mysterious cult whose leader Maggie (Brit Marling, who also co-wrote the screenplay with director Zal Batmanglij) claims to be from the future. What’s initially supposed to be an expose on the cult becomes blurred as Peter and Lorna get sucked in and take a more active part in the goings-on of their subject. They begin to doubt their cynicism: is Maggie actually from the future?

I can't find a copy of this one anywhere. It may not be available on DVD yet. Anyone with a lead, please post.

Seems like 'FOX Searchlight' gobbled it up and are sitting on it with no mention of release. Does look very promising indeed, a thriller exploring cynicism vs. faith as creator Zal Batmanglij (ZB) said in extension to a remark on his admiration of Lars von Triers (LvT) work :/ around same theme. From seeing 'Another Earth' ZB does seem to be more sensitive to philosofical transcendence (vague, but don't know how else to put it) in ways that LvT is not. Or perhaps rather LvT is swallowed by the vitriol of cynicism while ZB is openly exploring?
