Starseed Transmissions

I am now re reading Ken Carey's Starseed Transmissions. I read this book a long, long time ago but now, after much research and after reading the Wave and others I am reading this book with " new eyes"

The following is a paragraph from the first few pages of this book:
"I come from the Presence where there is no time but the
eternal now. I retain, even in the midst of this relation-
ship, an awareness of this realm and of the Universal
Being that inhabits it. I come with a message that will
prove vital to you in these final days of your history. My
individual identity comes into being only as I enter
the context of my relationship with you. When I am no
longer needed in this capacity, I will merge back into the
Being behind all being"

"When you remember your true nature, and begin to
draw identity from the totality of your being, then it
could be stated with all validity that I am an element of
your own consciousness. However, at that point, you will
no longer perceive me as you do now. When you have
awakened to the reality of your true being, you will
perceive me and all my species as being inside yourself.
Until then, you perceive me as being outside yourself.

There is but the filmiest of screens between your pre-
sent condition and your true nature. It is our mission to
assist you in bridging this gap, to awaken you from sleep,
to bring you to the fulfillment of your destiny. "

Hi David. I read a couple of Carey's books years ago, before reading The Wave and from what I remember, didn't really find much of interest. Starseed did stay on my bookshelf for quite a while but after reading Bringers of the Dawn, I passed it on. Needless to say, after reading Laura's works and the valuable research here, many of my books were passed on.

You might have seen this before:

Q: (L) I would like to ask about the Starseed Transmissions.
I would like to know about the Bird Tribes. What is this
source?
A: Ken Carey is only channeling his alternate self.

I would guess that one's 'alternate self' might not be as misleading as 4D STS, but the use of the word 'only' seems to imply that it is lacking in useful information.

Also, I recall that the Seth material was also Jane Roberts channeling an alternate self so may be common much of the early 'channeling'.

FWIW.

I appreciate your comments, as you, I have moved on, went to Jane Roberts and all the Seth books, as well as Bringers of the Dawn and for past year or so I have been avidly reading Cassiopaea, Mouravieff, Ouspensky still trying to find the way and struggling with my own self. I did get a lot of good from Ken Carey and Jane Roberts and others.
Back in my teen years I started with Blabatsky, Bessant, Leadbeter, also John Keel, and more always trying to find my way, it is not easy or quick I don't know if I will find it in this life but won't stop searching.

I liked the Starseed Transmissions even if it was Ken Carey channeling his "alternate self." After all Cs say to me "we are you in the future." I just don't think they mean it JUST a personal way, though there is some of that. Maybe it is the difference in methodology? The ST didn't give a whole lot of practical information, but still... it was nice reading!

No, but your above quote definitely feels consistent with all the new quantum stuff and thinking modes to which I've been exposed in one way or another. Sort of like replacing most all of the classical, linguistic "either/or" perspectives with something more quantum, like "all is in us and we are in all!"
