Strange UFO

i've been working in post-production for a decade now.

this looks like CG with very pedantic compositing work.

there are camera tracking programs which, when given footage and a few pointers, generate a virtual camera for use in 3D simulation software packages that is identical to the one used to capture the original footage.

they have blurred the craft when the lense-zoom blurs the footage, but the granularity is different for a few frames AS it is blurring and a few frames AS it unblurs.
this is a tell-tale sign of post production compositing, and it usually gives away which parts in movies have been overlaid onto footage.

it can never be ruled out as fake for sure, and i wouldn't be surprised if there are man-made craft out there which we have not yet seen before.. (remember the sudden appearance of Stealth Fighters during the Gulf war ?)

but this is my professional opinion on this case FWIW

It reminds me of Star Wars battledroids on their flying "bike" and the thirdphaseofmoon production team are Star Wars fans. Could be wrong though. :/

Also the object is small and moving not that fast and camera frames are switching too fast. Looks like some drone to me.

My first impression was excitement over the shape of it. It looks so different. So I thought it was some kind of RC helicopter. And it moves too slowly and is too "nuts and bolts". So I'm thinking it's 3D made, whether physical or CGI. Oh, and the host is kind of "in your face" too.

Boujou is probably the most expensive software "to help insert animated creatures or vehicles;" [into video recordings] in a most convincing way:

"Seamlessly add CG [computer generated vehicles & stuff] into your film or video footage."

This is the new "fox trott" craze, lot of people are trying to create believable fictional scenes by using raw footages. Film school students do this in a more convincing way.

The author of this footage is obviously a beginner and can only learn a lot. Vulcan59 posted a professional example of a multi-million dollar movie, how matchmoving and inserting objects into raw footage by studio experts is done. Pro's sometimes create whole landscapes, but the artificial origin of those are almost always noticeable. UFO-s, flying objects, trains, cars, collapsing bridges are more easy. Artificially made people or animals are harder to put into films, because it's difficult to simulate convincing organic movement. Movie industry professionals - highest paid experts- are able to accomplish this most of the time. In a lot of cases live movie actors are completely replaced by their digitally reproduced copies or counterparts.

Judging by a few other videos I've now seen of theirs, it could be that they are honestly trying to investigate and report on UFO sightings while also propelling themselves into fame, perhaps to sell their content to network tv. I just saw this one: _http://footageofufos.com/2011/10/blake-cousins/ where they report on a few sightings, interview witnesses and show footage they've come across.

It could be that, in their rush to creating viable content, they have lowered their discernment ability.

those guys are so obviously fake to me it is hardly watchable . the presenter those poorly acting "witnesses" just pure plain hokey.
something like this has nothing to do with honest research, Geezzz.
just another case of descrediting the whole UFO Phenomenon....

that's my opinion

Oh, I wouldn't suggest they are honest researchers. I hope I didn't give that impression. I think they are trying to create content that they can use to catapult their careers. Their style reminds me of certain paranormal television programs that attempt to present the topic in a serious way but with setup scenarios and even actors standing in for witnesses. It's the Entertainment Tonight approach to reporting.

I do, however, leave room for the possibility that they present videos they have received as if they were truths, without serious analysis, since they are perhaps more concerned about making interesting content and less concerned about the truth.

my guess is that they do know what they are doing and that they are faking the videos and witnesses etc. deliberately and thankfully they are very bad at it.

when I look at the comments on youtube it is sad (and kind of scary) to see how many people believe this crap.

Yup, its movement looks more like a terrestrial thing, maybe remote-controlled, without the typical UFO fast changes in speed and direction. Though that doesn´t mean it could not be a UFO, or human craft with technology given by aliens.

Its difficult to confirm, but it could be a kind of drone, ai rider or something like that. Maybe experimental, but its a lot of work to do in CGI just to make a "kind of rc helicopter".
