Sounds a lot like my Cherie. Not only does she understand most of what I say to her, she tries like heck to talk. I'm gonna make a video of her doing it because it is just amazing.

That was terrific! Especially at the end when Chaser is trying to "kill" the rubber goose.

I had a border collie, she was very smart. Her vocalizations were dependent on the situational context. She died of complications from Lupus in 2007. RIP Pippie.
