Terrorist attack in Colombia: at least 12 people were killed, about 20 were injured.

A powerful explosion occurred on the Pan-American Highway in the municipality of Cajibío. It destroyed a bus and dozens of nearby cars, according to the El Pais newspaper.

The country's President, Gustavo Petro, blamed an armed group led by a militant nicknamed Marlon for the attack. He called its members terrorists, fascists, and drug dealers and urged to pursue them worldwide.

Bomb attack rocked the Pan-American Highway in Cajibío, Cauca. The explosive struck a public bus, killing at least seven people and injuring 17, several of whom are in critical condition.
Authorities attribute the attack to FARC dissidents and are maintaining operations in the area in anticipation of possible new explosives. The shocking images show the magnitude of the tragedy and the destruction in this key corridor in the southwestern part of the country.

Apparently, guerrillas in southern Colombia (Cauca) are placing explosive gas cylinders on the busiest roads so they can be triggered by passing buses or trucks. In my view, this goes beyond a popular armed struggle and borders on organized psychopathy. This situation is very complex because there have been more than 25 attacks by FARC dissident guerrillas since last Sunday, and the public is blaming the current Petro administration for negligence—all on the eve of the presidential elections.

In southwestern Colombia, the region is experiencing one of its most violent periods due to terrorist attacks carried out by illegal groups operating in this area. These groups include dissidents from the FARC, who control the region and use it for drug trafficking and other illegal activities.
In the midst of these acts of violence, which have already numbered over 25 in various towns in Cauca, Valle del Cauca, and Nariño, the local communities have suffered greatly.
On Sunday, April 26th, several acts of terror were reported, according to information known to the authorities. Here is the list.
