The consciousness of people has changed

The Living Force
Finland's Janne stopped in the middle of the city of Helsinki with the inscription "I am HIV positive. Touch me! ". He stood quietly, spread his arms, closed his eyes and waited for the human touch.

Look at the reaction of the people, and himself in the end, the reaction was crying.
Video is not in English, but in this case, I think you will not need a translation.

Thanks, very touching. Just a side note, but the distributor/maker of this video seems to be 'Yle Kioski'. This same group of "journalists" is responsible for a large campaign in Finland of silencing dissidents by labeling them Russian-trolls. We've recently written an article about it on SOTT (The guilty dog barks,...).

So, excuse me for not sharing this one on Twitter and FB.

This video I laid there for one reason, and that is that the awareness of people back 30 years on here much changed, as could be seen in every touch and embrace with this man.I think that regardless of who made this video, at the end it is important point in this story :) :) :)
People can change, I believe it :)

I agree this was very worth posting here and the video does illustrate that many of us still care about others even if they may have contracted some illness or other. It was really heartwarming to see.

Some things we have to think about though: We don't know if this guy really was tested as HIV positive and was only doing this to see how people react, even if the whole thing was put together for some other reasons. Even if he was tested HIV positive it doesn't mean for sure he does have a disease because the test is very prone to giving false positive readings. There is also a good possibility that there really is no HIV virus and that even if there is it is not the cause, or at least the only cause of AIDS. It is a possibility that a lot of people now know these things which would change their behavior in some ways regarding supposed HIV infected people.

Regardless of the above, it certainly does show that many people care about and have compassion for others.

Thanks for sharing this Casper.

Even if it is not staged (the chances are that it is) there is question: why they touched him? Because of him, because of camera, or because of themselves? Cat also doesn't eat the mouse every time, but we cant say its because of compassion or consciousness.

The birds do not fly because she has wings; she has wings because she flies.
There are some things you have to bear, some inherited, some You make throughout life ... some are "born"( regardless of the camera) because learning.

From your description i would assume that you are proposing that awareness of the people (oh my) has changed for better. Don't hold your breath on that cause you could be influenced only by a film that could be playing on your "emotions". Almost like the purpose of it could be to facilitate daydreaming - maybe you could observe wright there around you in sphere of real life: bet houses&alcohol, sports&politics, smart phones&TV, religions& porns... My impression is that the awareness of vast majority of the people (oh my, oh my) has gone to HELL... sorry for the pun....

These things reawaken humanity in people.
sometimes little things can change someone else's day and even perception

But I think people need to be reminded of their humanity on a daily basis, little actions of common consideration reawaken humanity on some people.

Maybe I am too pessimistic, but that video reminds me of facebook, where people just "like" things which sounds "good" or "wise" without any understanding. Their interest in that last some couple of minutes, and even that its shallow and superficial, just "socially" programed. Feels good when they think they do something good, or different. The man on the video has just been "liked".

Well, I think that once again, it depends on each individual. Some "like" something and really feel touched by it, others just do it to follow the masses. Others forget the next minute. The message is one of humanity, and perhaps proof that many care in the end. The problem is that, if that very same man had a cold, say, and was sneezing and coughing a lot right next to them, not as many people would have reacted because they've bought the whole idea that AIDS gets transmitted via bodily fluids. Or, if this man was in a court case and being forced to get a treatment he doesn't want to, hardly anyone would actually move a finger while they watch the situation unfold sitting in from of the TV with a nice cup of coffee. They may get indignant if they are decent people, but that's it.

So, I think that "conscience" often gets expressed in safe environments (like "liking something on FB), but whenever risk is increased, most people would choose to not help, or they would go with what the authorities say. So, it makes one question their real motivations and triggers.

The fact that media outlets like this one does it, also means they know where to strike a cord with people, how to use their best qualities to later manipulate them and make them more vulnerable to propaganda. After watching this video, the subtle message they get is that the source is reliable, nice, etc.

That conscience has always been present in normal people, I think. IMO, it hasn't changed. What has changed is that they are getting more and more manipulated and programmed because, being good people, they ignore evil in this world, and don't learn how to counteract it, letting their goodness be exploited.

Please, :) pay attention to the title of this post, connected with the video, I thought that you understand what I wanted to point out.
1981. began to speak and write about HIV and AIDS, due to false propaganda that HIV causes AIDS, many people began to die emotionally and mentally when they said they were HIV positive. In those years, we planted the mistaken belief that if you're HIV positive, coming untimely death just waiting, fear of premature death "stated" we accept the imposed and inflated "treatments" that were supposed to stop AIDS. The most famous of these treatments is called AZT, which is the product, "Wellcome" company which is owned by the Rockefeller family, which is a key manipulator in the creation of so-called "New World Order".

Today, the knowledge of it (AZT destroys the immune system, people are dying from the treatment, not the HIV.), I wanted to point out that after 3o years, awareness of the "disease" has changed, people are in terms of this "disease" become more aware and have knowledge, read, inform...

I think that if you have titled it "Awareness about HIV and AIDS has changed", your message would have been clearer. Personally, I thought that you meant conscience, or consciousness in terms of growth.

Oh well, it started an interesting discusion nonetheless! :)

Well, ok, but I think you're taking a bit of a jump in your conclusion, aren't you? The same things mentioned before in this thread apply. We don't know that it's because they have more knowledge, they read or inform themselves that they reacted the way they did. At least the people I've asked several times don't really pay much attention to nor read about AIDS. They just know that it's not contagious by touch, and that sick people deserve compassion and a hug. So, maybe you are giving them a bit too much credit regarding their "consciousness"? Or maybe I'm just being "pessimistic".

Regardless whether it is a disease or the influence of a country to other countries, people have become more aware of the impact, the internet has a big role in all this. Take for example the people on this forum, some others point to the links that connect certain facts, help each other, exchange their thoughts, share knowledge, we support each other in good or in bad situations, not to judge each other ...
I think this forum very positive effect on people, but we have a really good listen, sometimes read between the lines, and that is the essence of my observations, people's awareness is changing, as in this forum, and outside, (maybe not so much, and then not so apparent?)

Title I left that because I think, as a lot has changed in terms of AIDS, also that we can suggest that in other areas a lot has changed, one example, food, fat, vegetarianism :) :) :)

I thought tonight, while I was working on ponderings people, optimism and pessimism, "the little things" that should be an encouragement to all of us (at least I think so) to break away and go with the new knowledge that we know and "digest" the "struggle "demons of this world. It seems to me IMO that many people do not use enough resources this forum in positive thinking (perhaps caution us in some way too cottage).

I agree that life should be alert to the danger lurks at every turn, but something in excess can take away a lot of new information. I have a feeling that people are afraid of "a-ha" moment, which sometimes can really shake one's beliefs and world view of their very roots. This post could be declared as "A-ha" moment after 30 years, "a generation of people in those 30 years are IMO really changed views on certain situations, probably because of a long period, not" felt "(I could call it) shock , an effect that I felt at this time spent in the forum and getting to know a completely different world. After the initial pessimism, with the help some of you, I turned all negative energy (which I was, to put it mildly, hold back at all times) to positive, the way, I started to notice the "little things," human humanity, understanding without judgment.

Maybe I give them, maybe I was not looking, but Of course, with caution, but they should be given an opportunity you've given me a very, very, very much credit, without interest as banks, suggesting to me on some things, "leading me" through the maze of this forum helped me to experience "A - ha moment "and turn it into a positive ...
I think that credit should be given to other people. :) :) :)
