resolved for the time being- blockades opened up from depots and main oil refinery- got fuel locally this morning ;)

its been a good preparation for what may come in due course -regarding fuel shortages ,collapse off infrastructure .

The Irish government's position is clear and consistent: any deal or support package is contingent on the blockades ending first.

It ended and they got their package, which is about the same as they give to their national broadcaster, RTÉ. Just like Canada, most all major news MSN outlets are on the news corporate welfare dole, although the state broadcaster, like RTÉ, is the CBC who are funded to the tune of > than 1.4 Billion annually.

So, the Canadian Ezra Lavant, left Ireland after a day and a half. However, he brought in Alexa Lavoie (journalist) to pick things up as things were winding down due to the package. Still, Lavoie gets some good comments from people on the streets and at least their story gets outside of Ireland.
