Set two years following the scientific proof of an afterlife and following thousands of resultant suicides, the scientist who proved it presses on with his work to find out where we go after death and what it means.
In the meantime, his son falls for a troubled woman who has her own reasons for wanting to know more.

This film/movie was quite moving in parts and asked some pretty serious questions about the nature of our reality and what happens after death.

I saw quite a few parallels here with the Cassiopaean Experiment, in that like minded people came together to occupy a secluded mansion in order to work together to find existential truth (it also differs significantly). At one point, one of the characters postulates that 'maybe we need to stay in this reality to learn its lessons before we move on to the next'.

There was also an interesting conclusion at the end which I won't spoil. Give it a go, I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on this one!

It's currently streaming on Netflix.
