At his trial in one environmental organization behind that line up thousands of Dutch, asked that government in the next five years reduce emissions 25 percent to protect citizens.

The only complaint was attended by 886 people who paid lawyers.Similar lawsuits are stored in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Ugh, you are so right, nicklebleu. This is dreadful.
The so-called green movement has a stranglehold on the people. I sometimes read articles written by these green despots, complaining that we throw away too much organic material in the bin for instance, meaning that we even have to spend more time on separating our trash. It is a kind of slavery IMO.

Meanwhile, a much more important court case has taken place, about 900 people and four housing corporations have sued Shell/ExxonMobil whose gas drilling has induced many, many (light) earthquakes.

So, the above court case could just be a sort of decoy, distracting people from what really matters.
