most everything is over-valued these days, but the real distortion of value is in the belief among many human beings that things are ok, or that their governments are working in their best interest, or that there is an truth to a "world-wide Muslim terror threat". All of these are vastly "over-valued", and there will be a very high price to pay, in many different ways, when these illusions go "pop".

Economist Cover 2015

I wonder if it might be a good idea to ask the C's about the real symbology behind this very disturbing cover design as reported in sott.net.

In addition to all the author's remarks and comments posted, a few other undiscussed disturbing bits of the cover design is the presence of Napoleon in colour towards the rear left (the black and faces are has-beens?) who seem to be waving and we all know his hand is always tucked away. A friendly Napoleon-like warlord to emerge in 2015 perhaps?

Re: Economist Cover 2015

The painting in the lower right corner of the cover is "La Belle Ferronniere", possibly by Leonardo da Vinci.

Cecilia Gallerani was Ludovico Sforza's first mistress and Leonardo painted her in the form of Lady with an Ermine. Later, the Duke was to take another mistress, Lucrezia Crivelli, and she is thought to be the subject of this painting. An alternative suggestion, though less accepted, is that this painting is Isabella of Aragon. This may, or may not be, Leonardo's work.

If it's Isabella of Aragon, then she's yet another character from France as she was a French queen. If the reference is to Ferronniere, then it might symbolize STD as the wiki explains that the woman was involved with the French king and her husband Le Ferron infected the king with syphillis through her in revenge.

Re: Economist Cover 2015

Here's the cover (larger version here). It's bizarre

economist_magazine_jan2015.jpg

Vigilant citizen has a blog on the cover and symbolism. He concludes:

The Economist is not a random newspaper that publishes quirky 2015 predictions to sell a few additional copies. It is directly connected to those who shape global policies and who make sure that they are applied. The publication is partly owned by the Rothschild banking family of England and its editor regularly attends Bilderberg meetings. In other words, The Economist is connected to those who have the means and the power to make “predictions” a reality.

The 2015-themed cover of the magazine basically reflects the overall Agenda of the elite and is peppered with cryptic symbols that appear to be included for “those in the know”. And the masses, like Alice watching the Cheshire Cat disappear, will focus on illusions while the wolf in sheep’s clothing will strike … and strike hard.

Re: Economist Cover 2015

I saw this article on SOTT last night and found this cover totally creepy. A few clues from the C's on the meaning behind some of these sinister images would be helpful.

At first glance, I thought Putin should probably avoid travel in a helicopter, then the article pointed out the "crop-o dust" written on it, and poisoned crops is so much worse!! Good grief, who are these sickos who think this crap up! Pied pipers, dumbfounded kids playing Panic (most US citizens?), it is all so sinister. :scared:

Re: Economist Cover 2015

The way Merkel is holding her hands must mean something though I don't know what it means.

Also on the left back there is a banner in red writing Singapore on it. Is some kind of false flag op prepared on the 11Th of May for Singapore ?

Re: Economist Cover 2015

Is that W. C. Field's behind Cameron? I wonder what the gilt framed portrait signifies in the lower right next to Alice. Very interesting. A great question for the C's.

Re: Economist Cover 2015

Merkel's hands seem to represent the pyramid with the 'third eye'
as seen on US dollar bills
The jacket button is 'the eye'

Looked like Churchill to me, with a kinda UK at war theme.

Re: Economist Cover 2015

Very creepy cover indeed! Good observations from all here so far. I always appreciate Vigilant Citizens interpretation of symbols so good to see this here, I haven't visited that site in awhile so need to have a look.

After studying the picture for a bit my over all impression is this. Here are the gray, lifeless rulers of the world involved in their cult of death and destruction. The "losers", those trampled on, innocents are at the bottom of the scene. Tropical fish, a tortoise, a child eating toxic noodles, Earth depicted as a football. And Alice in her innocence ....observing the illusion presented. The illusion may be depicted as the 2 faced Earth(?) in the upper right hand corner. A more righteous, battle scared face turned upward and the evil, destroyer looking down but both are faces of the same illusion/program as in "we are here to help and protect you against the evils of this world".

Re: Economist Cover 2015

Yes, this cover is creepy and could be wishful thinking of psychopaths what should happen, well hopefully not.

Merkel uses this hand position a lot if not always when she is talking, it is kind of symbol for Merkel.

Re: Economist Cover 2015

Thanks for posting. This is more creepy (and probably more revealing) than the Denver Airport Murals. Have to read the vigilantcitizen and SOTT article and will report back with observations ...

Re: Economist Cover 2015

Oh, forgot a few things. Putin is wearing sunglasses so his eyes cant be seen....? And who is the woman behind Merkel with the nest and wings on her head?
