my thoughts: it's a movie made by souled with the classic hero versus evil type setting but never portrays the hero as 'weak' in many of the
recent movies. Just a normal man doing what's right. There's violent scenes in the movie but nothing like the extreme violence in those psychopathy types. Hope you enjoy.

Thank you! ;D

So they switched from Arab villains to Russian villains - no surprise there.

Good point, Nienna! The masters of manipulation are hard at work to influence the people.

Indeed, after seeing the movie my first thoughts were like " the main character in the movie coincidentally resembles pretty much to OBAMA and in the movie he is fighting against the brutal Russian mobsters all my himself basically"-how proamerikkkan.
Spoiler alert:
The main character in the end of the movie exterminates the whole Russian mafia all by himself i mean if this is not a subtle massage of heroism, american exceptionalism and a portrayal of the russians as nothing more than a bunch o mobsters and savages to the west and american audiences than please excuse me i'm exaggerating and i'm a little paranoiac.

Yeah, I guess it was only a matter of time to switch from the Arab villains to Russians (again, but this time instead of evil commies, they're evil gangsters).

Thank you all for your reply. Really i did not see that far enough for the U.S vs Russia type scenario. :osama: :jawdrop:
For me it's just entertainment. I really do not wish to see the 3rd world war. There's just enough people dying now a days.
But you know the cosmic sweep is around the doorstep thus we all have just to be good to one another.......seems like a dream now a days.
Thanks again for your thoughts. :)

Absolutely. I've found this scenario with a couple of new releases that have come out. It seems the Russians are the bad guys all over again. The piece about Denzel maybe representing Obama was interesting, I didn't think of that but it kinda makes sense. Personally I found the movie to be ridiculous. Denzel is an old retired agent that is unstoppable no matter how many guys he comes up against. In reality he should've been dead maybe a quarter of the way into the movie. And then at the end travels to Russia to exterminate the head of the whole organization?! By himself?! Ridiculous.

I agree it was pretty ridiculous. Overall, I think it was one-dimensional and clumsy, with the violence getting overly gratuitous and sadistic, in my opinion.

The anti-russian propaganda reminded of the director’s (Antoine Fuqua) previous movie, ”Olympus has fallen”, which had North Koreans as the bad guys. As a movie it was really bad, with facepalm-inducing pro-American "flag waving".

The poor quality and the ”Fox news -attitude” in these last movies are curious, as Fuqua’s first movie, ”Training Day”, was an excellent and clever thriller showcasing the pathology amongst the Los Angeles police.

They continue with their anti Russian agenda. Another movie Taken3. And again Russians are bad guys.

The movie is so predictable that it make it very unpleasant for watching.
Psychos agenda and brainwashing continues.

Yes, you are right Konstantin, it's pretty amasing how the PTB's propaganda works through Entertainment industry in this case through movies and yes lately since the whole anti-russian campaign started i noticed too an increase of movie realeases with the main theme being: the good guys(usually the americans) fighting the bad guys(russians)

They began the cinematographic demonization of Russia in 2008 when the two big Hollywood summer blockbuster releases both switched from swarthy middle easterners, who had been the only movie villains for a long time, to evil Russians... James Bond and the X-Files led the way. The neo-con plans for Russia were already in play.

**Spoiler Alert**

God that movie was horrific.

The arch-villain is mob crime boss 'Vladimir Pushkin'... whose insidious operations of vice and vermin in the sleepy shires of the US Northeast are ruthlessly dismantled one by one, before Vlad is ultimately terminated in his Moscow palace by the ex-CIA operative 'I'm-only-in-it-coz-I-want-to-do-good-deeds-honest' Barack Oba... I mean, Denzel Washington.

:barf:

Unbelievable! :rotfl: How obvious can they actually get! It really does surprise me how people still haven't clocked onto this blatant propaganda. Vladimir Pushkin is laughable
