One thing that I find fascinating is that very "mongoloid" type carved heads have been found in South America. Don't know if you have read "The Gods of the Cataclysm" where the author proposes a movement of peoples from Southeast Asia to South America and shows strong relationships between things South American and things Chinese. After reading it, I wondered if it was the other way around: a movement from South America to Southeast Asia and then up into China.
While looking for some evidence of links between China and South America I stumbled on: something else besides the standard version of Mongoloid migration to America which is mentioned in many places:

THE GLOBAL AFRICAN COMMUNITY
H I S T O R Y N O T E S
AN AFRICAN PRESENCE IN PREHISTORIC AMERICA
By RUNOKO RASHIDI
Most modern scientists believe that the earliest immigrants to reach the Western Hemisphere were Asian Mongoloids. It would appear, however, that this general view ignores evidence that strongly suggests that the first people to arrive and settle in the Western Hemisphere were Black people of very ancient African ancestry.
European-American archaeologist Harold Sterling Gladwin (1883-1983) advanced that the first actual migrants to America were Afro-Australoids. The Afro-Australoid migrations to America probably began about 40,000 years ago and lasted for several millennia. These migrants are called "Australoids" because of their close physical and cultural relationships to the people who more than 50,000 years ago colonized much of Asia and Australia.
One of the most well-documented single pieces of evidence for the presence of Afro-Australoids in the prehistoric Americas during the period of Gladwin's writing was the Punin Skull: a female crania found in 1923, embedded in a stratum of volcanic ash near the small village of Punin in the Andean region of Ecuador. In addition to the skull itself, the stratum yielded the remains of a number of long extinct mammals; including an Andean horse--an animal known to have been extinct for more than 10,000 years. The Punin Skull's recovery by the American Museum of Natural History of New York created a sensation. It was, first of all, hailed as the earliest evidence of humans in the Americas, and, secondly, it was clearly of an Afro-Australoid type.
[...] Harvard anthropologist Earnest Hooton [...]:
"The Punin skull, found in 1923 in a fossiliferous bed in the Andean highlands of Ecuador...is a skull that any competent craniologist would identify as Australian in type. It is easier to find Australoid-looking dolichocephals in the more ancient burials in the New World than anything in the way of a skull that resembles a Mongoloid."
The second migration to the Americas, Asiatic-Africoids, began about 15,000 years ago. These migrants' physical appearance seems to have resembled the Melanesians--the proud Black Islanders of the South Pacific. After having first penetrated their way northward up the coasts of Asia, they began to gradually enter North America, where they ultimately developed the revolutionary and highly pivotal Clovis and Folsom fluted-point tool industries.
The above led to the question if there would be a link to Black People and China?

In honor of the Little Black People
The Saisiyat tribe of Hsinchu and Miaoli will perform a solemn rite this weekend to commemorate a race of people that they exterminated
By Jules Quartly
STAFF REPORTER
Saturday, Nov 27, 2004, Page 16
For the past 100 years or so, the Saisiyat tribe (賽夏族) has performed the songs and rites of the festival to bring good harvests, ward off bad luck and keep alive the spirit of a race of people who are said to have preceded all others in Taiwan.
In fact, the short, black men the festival celebrates are one of the most ancient types of modern humans on this planet and their kin still survive in Asia today. They are said to be diminutive Africoids and are variously called Pygmies, Negritos and Aeta. They are found in the Philippines, northern Malaysia, Thailand, Sumatra in Indonesia and other places.
Chinese historians called them "black dwarfs" in the Three Kingdoms period (AD 220 to AD 280) and they were still to be found in China during the Qing dynasty (1644 to 1911). In Taiwan they were called the "Little Black People" and, apart from being diminutive, they were also said to be broad-nosed and dark-skinned with curly hair.
The story goes that the Little Black People taught the Saisiyat to farm by providing seeds and they used to party together. But one day, the Little Black People sexually harassed some Aboriginal women. So, the Saisiyat took revenge and killed them off by cutting a bridge over which they were all crossing. Just two Little Black People survived. Before departing eastward, they taught the Saisiyat about their culture and passed down some of their songs, saying if they did not remember their people they would be cursed and their crops would fail.
The Saisiyat kept their promise and have held the Ritual of the Little Black People every year, though they scaled down the ceremonies during the Japanese colonial period (1895 to 1945). Now the ritual is held every two years on the 10th full moon of the lunar calendar, with a big festival once every 10 years. At this time, the Saisiyat are not supposed to fight and they congregate in their ancestral areas of Miaoli and Hsinchu, in the mountains.
Taipei Times also gives an idea of what the extinct tribe believed in:
"I've seen it written of as a celebration, but to me it seemed quite a mournful affair, especially in the way the music came across, which was trancelike, a haunting kind of chant with a series of 10 to 15 songs," said long-term Taiwan resident Lynn Miles, who has been to the ritual three times and will be going again this year.
"There's nothing else quite like it in its tone and in its mood. I've been to other festivals but this is non-stop."
Miles said the dances were not set pieces but usually involved holding hands and moving around in a circle, chanting, with those who know the songs doing most of the singing and a shaman figure keeping order.
A spokeswoman at the Council of Indigenous Peoples (under the Executive Yuan) said that those who have "unclean thoughts" have their souls snatched by the spirits of the Little Black People and will pass out until the shaman revives them.
Miles said the shaman seemed to serve a public-order function by chasing off those who were too drunk or out of order.
Another website has references on the history of the Little Black People in China:

H. Imbert, a French anthropoligist who lived in the Far East, says in "Les Negritos de la Chine".
"The Negroid races peopled at some time all the South of India, Indo-China and China. The South of Indo-China actually has now pure Negritos as the Semangs and mixed as the Malays and the Sakais..."
Similarly, this scholar declares:
"In the earliest Chinese history, several texts in classic books spoke of these diminutive blacks; thus the Tcheu-Li composed under the dynasty of Tcheu (1122-249 B. C.) gives a description of the inhabitants with black and oily skin...
The Prince Liu-Nan, who died in 122 B.C.,speaks of a kingdom of diminutive blacks in the southwest of China."
Moreover, he states:
"In the first epochs of Chinese history, the Negrito type peopled all the south of the country and even in the island of Hai-Nan, as we have attempted to prove in our study on the Negritos, on Black men of this island.

Chinese folklore speaks often of these Negroes, and mentions an Empress of China named Li (373-397A.D.), consort of the Emperor Hsiao Wn Wen, who is spoken of as being a Negro."
Professor Chang Hsing-Lang revealed in an article entitled, "The importation of Negro Slaves to China under the Tang Dynasty A.D. 618-907," that:
Even the sacred Manchu dynasty shows this Negro strain.. The lower part of the face of the Emperor Pu-yi of Manchukuo, direct descendant of the Manchu rulers of China, is most distinctly Negroid. "Chinese chroniclers report that a Negro Empire existed in the South of China at the dawn of that country's history."
Citing the works of Kwang-Chih Chang, The Archaeology of Ancient China, (Yale University Press) and Irwin Graham, Africans Abroad (Columbia University Press), R. Rashidi makes the point.
There is evidence of substantial populations of Blacks in early China. Archaeological studies have located a black substraum in the earliest periods of Chinese history, "and reports of major kingdom ruled by Blacks are frequently in Chinese documents.
Although the island nation of Japan is assumed by many to have been historically composed of an essentially homogenous population, the accumulated evidence places the matter in a vastly different light. A Japanese proverb states that: "For a Samurai to be brave, he must have a bit of Black blood." Another recording of the proverb is: "Half the blood in one's veins must be Black to make a good Samurai." Sakanouye Tamura Maro, a Black man, became the first Shogun of Japan.
In China, an Africoid presence in visible from remote antiquity. The Shang, for example, China's first dynasts, are described as having "black and oily skin." The famous Chinese sage Lao-Tze was "black in complexion."
Information about the relationship between Black Aboriginal and Chinese Mongoloid culture:
We know very little about the sounds of ancient Chinese because Ancient Chinese was different from Old Chinese and Middle Chinese and the modern Chinese dialects. (Ramsey 1987, pp.137-138) This results from the fact that the Chinese dynasties were founded by diverse ethnic groups e.g., Xia and Shang li (i.e., Black Shang) were founded by Dravidian and Manding speakers. Shang-Yin was founded by classical mongoloids, and the Zhou by the contemporary Chinese. ) This explains the difference in pronunciation for Ancient Chinese spoken by the Xia and Shang peoples and Old and Middle Chinese or a variant there of, which was probably spoken by the Zhou people.
The Shang characters compare favorably to the ancient Proto- Saharan script used by the Harappans in the Indus Valley and the Manding script used in the ancient Sahara and Crete . Winters (1985c) outlined the spread of the Proto-Saharan script to Harappa, and throughout Saharan Africa and Asia by the Dravidians and Manding.
Oraclebone Writing
Evidence of Chinese writing first appears around 2000 B.C. as pottery marks. The shell-and-bone characters represented writing they were not pictures. The Shang symbols compare favorably with ancient Manding symbols. Although their are different contemporary pronunciations for these symbols they have the same meaning and shape. This suggest a genetic relationship between these scripts because we know that the present pronunciation of the Chinese symbols probably has little relationship to the ancient pronunciation of Chinese spoken in Xia and Shang times when these characters were first used. This cognation of scripts supports the proposed Dravidian and Manding migration and settlement of ancient China during Xia times.
The identification of the first hero of China, Hu Nak Kunte as a member of the Kunte clan of the Manding speakers of Africa is supported by the close relationship between the Manding languages and Chinese. Even though we do not know the ancient pronunciation of many Chinese signs many Chinese and Manding words share analogy and suggest a Manding substratum for Chinese.

The raceandhistory website makes more claims to the influence of Black People on China.
The original, first, native, primitive inhabitants of China were black Africans who arrived there about 100,000 years ago and dominated the region until a few thousand years ago when the Mongol advance into that region began. These Africans who fled the Mongol onslaught can still be found in South East Asia and the Pacific Islands misnomered Nigritos or "small black men." The Agta of the Philippines is one such example. Indeed archeology, forensic and otherwise confirm that China's first two dynasties, the Xia and the Ch'ang/Sh'ang, were largely Black African with an Australoid, called "Madras Indian" or "Chamar" in Trinidad, present in small percentages. These Africans would carry an art of fighting developed in the Horn of Africa into China which today we call martial arts: Tai Chi, Kung fu and Tae Kwon Do. Even the oracle of the I-Ching came with a later African group, the Akkadians of Babylon.

Around 500 BCE an African living in India called Gautama would establish a religion called Buddhism which would come to dominate Chinese thought. Any one who is in doubt should consult Geoffrey Higgins's Anacalypsis, Albert Churchward's Origin and development of Religions, Gerald Massey's Egypt the Light of the World, Riunoko Rashidi's African Presence in Early Asia and J A Roger's Sex and Race Vol 1. Many Africans survived the Mongol invasion into the twentieth century only to be exterminated by Chairman Mao's programme of Cultural cleansing. Under this programme millions of Africans and Afro-Asians were killed from 1951-1956. Contribute we still did, giving the People's Republic of China its first Chief Minister in the name of Eugene Chen, a Trinidadian of George Street, Port-of-Spain, who was of an African mother and a Chinese father.
What I am missing in the above are references. About Buddha there is on
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scythians :
Although the Shakas had a reputation as fierce and war-like, one of the greatest sages of peace, the Buddha, descended from this tribe: he had the Pali title Sakyamuni which means "Scythian sage (muni)".
A compromise would be that he had a family background that was mixed, but that does not mean he was.
Wikipedia have a short description about the Negritos, it gives some idea of where to meet them in todays world.

The Negritos include the Aeta (Ati) and at least 25 other tribes of the Philippines, the Semang of the Malay peninsula, the Mani of Thailand and 12 Andamanese tribes of the Andaman Islands. The Malay term for them is orang asli, or original people. They are likely the indigenous people of south-east Asia, including New Guinea. Pygmy-sized, they are numerically and physically among the smallest as well as among the least-known of all living human races. The Negrito peoples have one of the purest genetic pools of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) among anyone in humankind so their mtDNA serves as a baseline in studying Genetic Drift.[1]
The following is a list of alleged African civilisations. I think it is quite intersting to consider. The community-2.webtv webpage has a mission-statement and I include it so that the reader can get the sentiment behind it and probably a few of the already quoted too:
AFRICAN IDEAS ARE AS GOOD AS ANY. AFRICAN CULTURE MUST LIVE ON.
AFRICANS, AFRICANS OF THE AMERICAS, INDO-NEGROIDS, NEGRO-AUSTRALOIDS, MELANESIANS, AUSTRALIAN ABORIGINALS AND OTHER BLACKS WORLDWIDE MUST UNITE TO FIGHT RACISM, STOP GENOCIDE AGAINST BLACKS AND WORK FOR ECONOMIC, CULTURAL, TECHNOLOGIAL AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT.
MAP OF AFRICA SHOWING ANCIENT AFRICAN CIVILIZATIONS, KINGDOMS AND EMPIRES
captureD1.jpg

Here are the facts, based on African tradition and writings, as well as recent discoveries, (not the dates given by the foreign historians)

1. Semlike River Valley, Congo: First sophisticated, polished tools, weapons and culture dates back to about 100,000 to 70,000 years ago.

2. Blombos Cave, South Africa: Sophisticated, polished Tools of stone and bone and geometric markings found dating back to about 70,000 years ago
Later on, paintings of identical style and "school," found from South Africa to France, drawn and painted by the same people.

3. The Zingh Empire; (in the area of Sahara, Mauritania, Mali, Ghana, Burkina Faso) 15,000 B.C.

4. Nile Corridor: 17000 B.C. (Sphinx is said to be about 10,000 years old

5. Upper Nile: (Nagau, Punt) 20,000 B.C.

6. Ta Seti (Prehistoric Nubia) civilization exists (article in Times Magazine, 1999; pottery, glassware, artwork)
Prehistoric Cushite Empire, founded by Descendnts of Cush, stretches from Sudan to Cambodia. Civilizations in Africa and Asia founded by Cushites between 10,000 B.C. to 1000 A.D. are; Africa: Cush (Sudan),Sabea (Ethiopia, South Arabia). in Asia: Elam, Susia, Sumer, Indus Valley (Cushites and Dravidians), Cambodia, Shia and Shang China. (See this site for more information http://www.cwo.com/lucumi/runoko.html

7. Huge astronomical observatory made of stone, found in Sudan; date; approx. 7000 B.C.

8. Natufian and Badarian Cultures begin in Lower Egypt about 5000 to 6000 B.C. (Delta was previously covered with water and swampland according to ancient Egyptian sources).

9. First series of Nubian rulers begin. Kingship that later spreads to Egypt, begins in Nubia.

COMMONLY PRESENTED AFRICAN CIVILIZATIONS: (European Version)

9. Egyptian -- 3500 B.C.

10. Nubia-Kush --1000 B.C. to 300 A.D.

11. Aksum -- 1 A.D. to 800 A.D.

12. Ghana -- 800's A.D. to 1000's A.D.

13. Songhai --700 to 1800 A.D.

14. Kanem Bornu --800's to 1800's A.D.

15. Mali 1200's to 1800's

16, Zanj (Swahili) 1000 A.D. to 1700's A.D.

17. Lake Kingdoms 1400's to the present

18. Benin -- 1100's to 1800's

19. Oyo -- 1200's to 1800's

20. Ashanti 1600's to present

21. Dahomey 1600's to 1900's

22. Kongo 1400's to 1700's

23. Mwene Mutapa (Zimbabwe) 1500'S TO 1600'S

24. Hova (Madagascar) 1700's to 1900's

Note that all the above dates in regards to the time these African kingsoms/empires existed began with the time the Europeans first encountered them. African sources place the existance of kingdoms in Benin and parts of West Africa hundreds of years Before Christ. Ghana also existed hundreds of years before Christ but was first seen by Arabs in the 700's A.D. The Zanj states of East Africa existed back to the time of Queen Hatshepsut (1500 B.C.) and one of their queens was Ati, whose likeness is painted on Hatshepsut's temple's walls. The age of Zimbabwe extens to before 300 B.C.
The next website defines the characteristics of what they call The Sudroid (Indo-African) Race with a special focus on links between groups in Africa and India. Besides the linguistic parallels which are close, there are also some etnographical and genetical:
"
2. Ethnographic Evidence
[...]
2.2 Theological
Both Africans and Dravidians held a common interest in teh cult of the Serpent and believed tn a Supreme God, who lived in aplace of peace and tranqulity. Murugan the Dravidian god of the mounatins parallels a common god in East Africa worshipped by 25 ethnic groups called Murungu, the god who resides in the mountains [ Win.gen ]
2.3 Burial & Death Rites
Burning of the dead body is a characteristic of Indo-Aryans, while burial of the dead was common to Indo-Africans. In both South India and the Western Sudan and Senegambia the dead were buried and interned in terra cotta jars [ Singh ] [ Win.gen ]
2.4 Circumcision & Initiation Rites
Circumcision, both male and female, was practiced by Dravidians and is still widely practiced in Africa. "
[...]
5. Genetic
The Sudroid and Africoid peoples are also genetically closely related. The genetic similarities between Africans and Sudrics include:
Glucose-6-Phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency
Gene for sickle-cell anemia is common
Enzymes providing malaria resistance are present
The Kolarians (Indo-Australoids) share many genetic similarities with the Australoids and Oceanic Negroids. Genetic similarities of the Kolarians with the Australoids and Oceanic Negroids include :
Glucose-6-Phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency and alcohol intolerance
A large ratio of B type blood
Rarity of Rhesus negative
Rarity of P2 gene
Rarity of A type, and especially A2
Shovel-shaped incisors are common
Low bi-zygomatic diameter
In addition, the hair is frequently reddish to blonde in childhood in the case of Australoid Blackfellows, Dravidians and Kolarians.
Genetic Studies of mtDNA of Dravidians in Andhra displayed a close similarity with African populations [ Bam ].
An intersting remark on Lemuria or is it Atlantis?
Apendix V - Lemuria
Dravidian legends mention an ancient landmass which disappeared into the Ocean. The Tamils say that it was highly populated and included large cities, now buried beneath the sea. Tamil historians have discussed this land mass in detail throughout history; eg. Ariyarkkunallar in the 12th century. Linguistic evidence indicates that the Dravidians are related to the C-group Nubians of the Western Sahara who built the Kerma empire. Since Egypt was often at war with Kerma, the connection across Lemuria seems more plausible. [Winters:Agri]
The English zoologost Philip Sclater propsed the theory of the continent of Lemuria in the mid-1800s [ 3 Oc. 127 ]
The conclusion of the search for any links between South America and China is that Black Peoples have a richer history than comonly known. And since they have been a strong force on the Southern Hemisphere it can not be ruled out that they have been a connecting link between cultures in South America, Australia, South-East Asia, India, The Middle East and Africa.
From the story in the Taipei Times one gets the idea that a people may die out, but hand over remnants of their culture to those who take over.
Another discovery was that solid Ethnic cleansing and genocide is not exclusinvely a white-black issue:
http://www.republicanchina.org/Hun.html
Ah Xiang said:
As to the Jiehu, i.e., one of the five troubal groups which pillaged China, they were said to have possessed higher nose bridge than the other nomadic groups. Shi Min, an adopted son of Jiehu's Posterior Zhao, had at one time killed about 200,000 Jiehu nomads. Jiehu was an alternative race of the Huns, but they must have looked the same to other Huns and Chinese except for the high nose bridge. History recorded that the criteria used for sorting out Jiehu was the nose bridge, only. History said that Shi Min's armies killed those people who looked like Jiehu because of high nose bridge.
Ah Xiang writes pages of history but not much is there on the Little Black People. I am not convinced the above 200000 were black hybrids, it does give one the idea that being different was not in fashion.
Therefore if one wants to understand the history of ethnic groups it will be necessary also to keep a small file of the history of genocide, ethnic and cultural cleansing.

Researcher Ivan Van Sertima wrote extensively on the topic of Africans in America before columbus.

A website dedicated to his work says the following:
Sertima is a literary critic, a linguist, and an anthropologist, and has made a name for himself in all three fields. As a linguist, he is the compiler of the Swahili Dictionary of Legal Terms, based on his field word in Tanzania, East Africa in 1967. As a literary critic, he is the author of Caribbean Writers, a collection of critical essays on the Caribbean novel. He is also the author of several major literary reviews published in Denmark, India, Britain, and the United States. He was recognized for his work in this field by being requested by the Nobel Committee of the Swedish Academy to nominate candidates for the Nobel Prize in Literature from 1976 to 1980.

The cornerstone of Dr. Van Sertima's legacy will probably be his authorship of They Came Before Columbus: The African Presence in Ancient America. According to Van Sertima:

"The African presence in America before Columbus is of importance not only to African and American history, but to the history of world civilizations. The African presence is proven by stone heads, terra cottas, skeletons, artifacts, techniques and inscriptions, by oral traditions and documented history, by botanical, linguistic and cultural data."
The history of man is one of cultural drift where the actual influences that become associated with a given group may really belong to another as we are increasingly finding out. What is important in the end is whether or not a person is a psychopath or has conscience and defends the truth, regardless of the religious, cultural or racial group one was born into. With that in mind I find the quote below interesting in terms of what is considered a big part of my own Jamaican culture although I am in no way a rastafarian or a saddhu but I absolutely wear dreadlocks. In the polite research circles I sometimes frequent, they hear Jamaican and invariably questions about pot smoking comes up. As if that is all there is to the culture.

Saddhu makes me think of Sadducees written about in the bible and rastas grow dreadlocks as part of the nazarite vow.

website here http://www.rastafarispeaks.com/articles/history.html
Many Rastas lived (and live today) in the bush in camps ruled by an Elder. Some of these camps are segregated by sex and resemble monasteries (down to the gong at the gate); more often, they are reconstituted West African villages. The dreads observe the rules of "ital", a dietary code based on the Pentateuch with various additions, and otherwise observe a spiritual rule. Males are usually bearded (uncommon in Jamaica during the classical period, and a cause of social and religious discrimination, so that Rastas who held jobs often were "baldfaces" who kept their affiliation secret.)

The famous "dreadlocks" were worn during the classical period only by a minority of dreads, mostly those who had taken the oath of Nazirite. Very recent historical research suggests that the dreadlocks were popularized by a monastic movement which opposed the unrestrained and potentially corrupting power of the Elders. These celibate and almost puritanical "nyabinghi warriors" objected particularly to "pagan holdovers" in Rastafari, the continued use by dreads of ritual practices associated with the voudoun-like folk religion of the Jamaican peasantry.

Hinduism

Another source of "pagan" thought in Rastafari was the religion practiced by the thousands of East Indian labourers imported to Jamaica after the abolition of slavery. Classical Hinduism is a major religious force throughout the West Indies, especially on Trinidad, but its influence on Rastafari has been little remarked. The dreadlocked, ganja-smoking saddhu or wandering ascetic is a well-known figure in India, and bands of saddhus often live in Rasta-style camps and smoke marijuana from a formally-blessed communal chalice-pipe. The Hindu doctrine of reincarnation is also advocated by many dreads, although often with a subtle twist: to say that (for example) today's Jamaicans are reincarnated Israelites, and even "I myself have felt the slave-master's whip", means to some dreads not that they personally have lived before, but that their solidarity with their ancestors is so great that there is a "oneness through time".
I definitely did not experience the above in with my brief hands on study of rastafarianism. What I most remember as a rasta is its staunch individualism and distrust of organization and centralized authority. One did not have to smoke ganja to be a rasta either but maybe I only got to see the outer part of Rastafarianism. Based on the above the inner secret may be that they are reincarnated isrealites who practice Indian rituals. There's a modern middle east/asia/americas connection for you and through a people that are predominantly black too.

I agree. Is it possible that it is not community-2.webtv.net who put the cookie? When I looked at the site I got the impression that they are hosting other peoples work, so is it that the cookie has been put by those who made the presentation, which is listed among others on this page: http://community-2.webtv.net/nubianem/ I have tride to find out which group is behind but no luck yet. Maybe it is not important. What I could do, if people think the cookie is a big issue is to edit the post and rewrite the code so that seeing the map is optonal.

Yes, I am sure it is community... because I use Firefox and have it set up to always ask me if before storing a cookie.

I know that SOTT uses cookies, but in general I am suspicious of cookies. In this case the cookie is "foreign" to the SOTT web site, so it just seems strange to me. It is also strange that denial of the cookie also causes denial of the jpg file as well. [Which is why I do not see the map.] I deny cookies all the time yet still surf the web just fine, pictures and all.

Theres also the mystery of the cocaine mummies, ancient egyptian mummies which were found to have traces of nicotine and cocaine in the DNA strands found in their hair.A search on the name Dr Svelta Balabanova should bring up many results.

I remember watching a documentary on British TV many many years ago which was about this and how there must have been trade routes between Africa, China, and South America thousands of years ago. As the plants in question did not grow in Egypt.Sorry cant remember the name of the documentary.

You can say that again! The more I dig into that origins of the stories of the Old Testament claimed by the Jews as their "history", the more convinced I become that these stories actually belonged to a different people in a different location, at a different time. Let's face it, under NO circumstances would Palestine be considered a "land flowing with milk and honey." From what I have heard from those who have lived there, it's really a hard, difficult and unforgiving landscape that requires so much to be put into it in order to get any yield out of it. Then, there is the heat... Not a pleasant place, I hear.

Now, regarding Buddhism, a correspondent recently sent me this link: http://www.trimondi.de/SDLE/Index.htm

I sent the link to a couple of our German speaking researchers to see if there was any "backstory" that wasn't evident on the website. One of them commented:

- the main focus of their works is against religious fundamentalism
in all religions.

- they say that Buddhism and their leader the Dalai Lama are as
fundamentalistic as all other religions. They point to the so-called
Kalachakra tantra and the Shambhala myths.
http://www.trimondi.de/EN/deba03.html
http://www.trimondi.de/Kalachakra/dec.eng..htm

- They have written a book about how Buddhistic and Hinduistic
mysticism combined with right wing ideas and fascism build a
dangerous mix.
The other added:

the bio's of victor and victoria trimondi sound fairly honest.
it seems to me that he was really searching, first politically, then
spiritually and at last critically (as he points out).

funny that they changed their names in 2004.

funny that this is not in the english translation.
Nevertheless, it is worth taking a look at it.

Regarding the black peoples, one of the more interesting things I've read in recent times is some stuff about melanin and its properties and specifically about it's presence in the brain. "Black Virgin," anyone?

The devil is in the details. Cookies are not inherently dangerous, just like a hammer is not inherently dangerous. There is nothing inherently evil about cookies like there is nothing inherently evil about cookies.

It is all in how it is used.

Many companies use cookies to track you across the web to accumulate statistics about your use of the web. This can be done across sites, not just by a particular site. Most often it is used for marketing purposes, but there is no limit to how this information can be used.

I object to cookies only because I cannot accurately predict how they will be used, and I know for a fact that cookies are used for tracking. Is it evil? I don't know, but I don't just assume that because I don't know that everything is OK.

- They have written a book about how Buddhistic and Hinduistic
mysticism combined with right wing ideas and fascism build a
dangerous mix.
They may not be so wrong. There are warlike buddhists as anyone else. According to Ossendowski, they were supported by and in return supported and the Kahns as in Genghis, and Kublai Kahn.

As he fled the communist revolution, Russian chemist and writer Ferdinand Ossendowski spent considerable time in Central Asia, Siberia even Chinese territory. In his book Men Beasts and Gods, he wrote about his experiences and the weird stories he heard from the Lamas who put him up from time to time in his wanderings. His book paints a picture of Buddhism with its fundamentalist aspects and themes the fascists borrowed. I guess this is why so many fascists went looking for Agharta and Shambala. It is the underground kingdom populated with people with powers that read like 4D technology and ruled by the king of the world who communicates with gods.

There is even a prophecy of the king of the world given in 1890. Some excerpts I had highlighted in the book are below. I found some if them curious when I first read the book but they make much more sense now in terms of Controversy of Zion.
Ossendowski does not appear to be some fantastical flake either and he doesn't seem invested in any of these tales. The book is written in the manner of someone just recording what he saw and heard from others in his travels. The first edition was published in 1922 and the foreword or "explanatory note"
was written by one Lewis Stanton Palen. It says

When one of the leading publicists in America, Dr, Albert Shaw of the Review of Reviews, after reading the manuscripts of Part I of this volume, characterized the author as "The Robinson Crusoe of the Twentieth Century". he touched the feature of the narrative which is at once most attractive and most dangerous; for the succession of trying and thrilling experiences recorded seems in places too highly colored to be real or, sometimes even possible in this day and generation. I desire, therefore, to assure the reader at the outset that Dr. Ossendowski is a man of long and diverse experience as a scientists and writer with a training for careful observation which should put the stamp of accuracy and reliability on his chronicle. Only the extraordinary events of these extraordinary times could have thrown one with some many talents back into the surroundings of the "Cave Man" and thus given to us this unusual account of personal adventure, of great human mysteries and of the political and religious motives which are energizing the "heart of Asia."

My share in the work has been to induce Dr.Ossendowski to write his story at this time and to assist him in rendering his experiences into English.
A baron he meets in Urga tells Ossendowski about his life below. BTW Ossendowski describes a 'black' tibetan who comes to pray just before launching into the conversations with the baron. From Chapter XXXVI
A SON OF CRUSSADERS AND PRIVATEERS

"The family of Ungern von Sternberg is an old family, a mixture of Germans with Hungarians-Huns from the time of Attila. My warlike ancestors took part in all the European struggles. They participated in the Crusades and one Ungern was killed under the walls of Jerusalem fighting under Richard Coeur de Lion. Even the tragic Crusade of the Children was marked by the death of Ralph Ungern, eleven years old. When the boldest warriors of the country were dispatched to the eastern border of the German empire against the Slavs in the twelfth century , my ancestor was among them, Baron Halsa Ungern Sternberg. Here these border knights formed the order of the Monk Knights or Teutons, which with fire and sword spread Christianity among the pagan Lithuanians, Estonians, Latvians and Slavs. Since the Teuton Order of Knights has always had among its members representatives of our family"
The baron continues talking about his family's holdings and influence all over Europe including France, Spain and Italy. I am guessing his family were Goths.

"Our family was warlike and given to mysticism and aasceticism."

"In the beginning of the eighteenth century there was a well-known barom Wilhelm Ungern, who was referred to as the "brother of Satan" because he was an alchemist. My grandfather was a privateer in the Indian Ocean, taking his tribute from the English traders whose warships could not catch him for several years. At last he was captured and handed to the Russian Consul, who transported hiim to Russia where he was sentenced to deportation to the Transbaikal."

"I have spent all my life in war or in the study of learning of Buddhism. My grandfather brought Buddhism to us from India and my father and I accepted and professed it. In Transbiakalia I tried to form the order of Military Buddhist for an uncompromising fight against the depravity of revolution"
The picture of the baron that Ossendowski painted in the sentence below gives one an idea that the thoughts of these anti-communist buddhists were fascists like. The baron sounds reasonable when talking about the 'Curse' of revolution, referring to the communists and man moving away from the spiritual. This was probably on the minds of people who could then see the problems the revolution would bring. But then he gets interesting because he talks about his best soldiers in the fight against this curse were Jews. But the way he talks (but doesn't say) is as if the Curse is the Jews. He gives orders to communist commanders so it's hard to tell who is who. Is he against the communist revolution or not? Also his spiel about Jews being the best sound as if the baron and his type had the Jews working for them but the reality may have been the other way around. Thre is all this stuff surrounding central Asia, Tibet and china. The protocols possibly came out of central Asia too right? If he is from a warlike family of Huns, a Buddhist christian anti-revoultionary but have jews working for him in his army. It looks almost like our neo-con occultists in bed with the zionists, each thinking they control the other.

The grandson of the privateer, quoting scientific theories, works, the names of scientists and writers, the Holy Bible and Buddhist books, mixing together French, German, Russian and English continued:

" In the Buddhistic and ancient Christian books were read with stern predictions about the time when the war between the good and evil spirits must begin. Then there must come the unknown 'Curse' which will conquer the world, blot out culture, kill morality and destroy all people. The weapon is revolution. During every revolution the previously experienced intellect-creator will be replaced by the new rough force of the destroyer. He will place hold in the first rank the lower instincts and desires. Man will be farther removed from the divine and the spiritual. The Great War proved that humanity must progress upward toward higher ideals; but then appeared that Curse which was seen and felt by Christ, the Apostle John, Buddha, the first Christian martyrs, Dante, Leonardo da Vinci, Goethe, and Dostoyevsky. It appeared and turned back the wheel of progress and blocked our road to Divinity. Revolution is the infectious disease and Europe making treaty with Moscow deceived itself and the other parts of the world.
The Great Spirit punt at the threshold of our lives Karma, who knows neither neither anger nor pardon. He will reckon the account, whose total will be famine, destruction, the death of culture, of glory, of honor, and of spirit, the death of states and the death of peoples. I see already this horror, this dark mad destruction of humanity."
Then there are his agents.

On the top of a flat hill stood the big powerful radio station, which had been partially destroyed by the retreating Chinese but reconstructed by the engineers of Baron Ungern. The General perused the telegrams and handed them to me. They were from Moscow, Chita, Vladivostok and Peking. On a separate yellow sheet were the code messages which the Baron slipped into his pocket as he said this to me"
" They are from my agents, who are stationed in Chita, Irkutsk, Harbin and Vladivostok. They are all Jews very skilled and very bold men, friends of mine all. I also have one Jewish officer, Vulfovitch who commands my right flank. He is as ferocious as Satan but clever and brave....
He tells Ossendowski about the plans he and his Teutonic order had in mind for a pan Asia until Russia betrayed them with the revolution. This is what they were working for! Why in the world was this baron then working with the very purveyors of the revolution unless there is a true Mongol connection with these Jews that he isn't talking about or maybe he was working for them and didn't know it?

During the war we saw the gradual corruption of the Russian army and foresaw the treachery of Russia to the Allies as well as the approaching danger of revolution. To counteract this latter a plan was formed to join together all the Mongolian peoples which had not forgotten their ancient faiths and customs into one Asiatic State consisting of autonomous tribal units under the moral and legislative leadership of China, the country of the loftiest and most ancient culture. Into this State must come the Chinese, Mongols, Tibetans, Afghans, The Mongol tribes of Turkestan, Tartars, Buriats, Kirghiz and Malmucks.
As an aside, A maternal great grandmother of mine who I never met is Korean; my grandfather hated the Chinese and called them barbaric and cruel. I am guessing it was because of what his mother may have taught him about the Chinese historical treatment of the Koreans. I can't imagine the Chines being moral leaders.

Back to Ossendowski:
The description of his talks with some lamas and their ideas about 'The King of the World' and Agharti sounds like Theosophic and Nazi lore.

"today is a great day" the living Buddha once said to me, The day of the victory of Buddhism over all other religions."

Part V
THE SUBTERRANEAN KINGDOM

The favorite Gelong lama of Prince Chultun Beyli and the Prince himself gave me an account of the subterranean kingdom. "Everything in the world" said the Gelong, "is constantly in a state of change and transition-peoples, science, religions, laws and customs. How many great empires and brilliant cultures have perished! And that alone which remains unchanged is Evil, the tool of bad spirits. More than sixty thousand years ago a Holy man disappeared with a whole tribe of people under the ground and never appeared again on the surface of the earth. Many people however have since visited this kingdom No one knows where this place is. One says Afghanistan, others India"
It gives new meaning to the US in Afghanistan and Israel making a overtures of friendship with India. Only this lama makes this kingdom seem good and goes on to list all the advanced science and lack of crimes. Its leader is called the "King of the World" and has fantastic powers that sounds like what the Cs describe as more 4D technology like. There are references to Atlantis and lemuria but not the actual names. This ruler communicates with god and can read souls.

He:
"Invisibly rules eight hundred million men on the surface of the earth and they will accomplish his every order" Prince Chultun Beyli added: " This kingdom is Agharti. It extends throughout all the subterranean passages of the world. I heard a learned Lama of China relating to Gogdo Khan that all the subterranean caves of America are inhabited by the ancient people who have disappeared underground. Traces of them are still found on the surface of the land.

You know that in the two greatest oceans of the east and the west there were formerly two continents. They disappeared under the water but their people went into the subterranean kingdom.[...]

There are many different peoples and many different tribes
Ossendowski then questioned another lama- the Tashi Lama about this kingdom. He gives a slightly different account

How many persons have ever been to Agharti? I questioned him. "very many", answered the Lama, "but all these people have kept secret that which they saw there. When the Olets destroyed Lhasa, one of their detachments in the southwestern mountains penetrated to the outskirts of Agharti. Here they learned some of the lesser mysterious sciences and brought then to the surface of our earth. This is why the Olets and Kalmucks are artful sorcerers and prophets. Also from the eastern country some tribes of black people penetrated to Agharti and lived there for centuries. Afterwards they were thrust out from the kingdom and returned to earth, bringing with them the mystery of predictions according to cards, grasses and the lines of the palm. They are the Gypsies.....Somewhere in the north of Asia a tribe exists which is now dying and which came from the cave of Agharti, skilled in calling back the spirits of the dead as they float through the air.

"Several times the Pontiffs of Lhasa and Urga have sent envoys to the King of the World" said the Lama librarian, "but they could not find him. Only a certain Tibetan leader after a battle with the Olets found the cave with the inscription ' This is the gate to Agharti'. From the cave a fine appearing man came forth, presented him with a gold tablet bearing the mysterious signs and said:
"'The King of the World will appear before all people when the time shall have arrived for him to lead all the good people of the world against all the bad; but this time has not yet come. The most evil among mankind have not yet been born.'

"Chiang Chun Baron Ungern [yes the same one from earlier chapters] sent the round prince Pounzig to seek out the King of the World but he returned with a letter from the Dalai Lama from Lhasa. When the Baron sent him a second time, he did not come back"
I am guessing these are the stories some of the Nazis believed. They wanted extreme evil in the world so that the king of the world could return. It isn't much different from the fundamentalists pushing for war in Israel in hopes that Christ will return.

Who are these blacks that are gypsies?

CHAPTER XLIX
THE PROPHECY OF THE KING OF THE WORLD IN 1890

The Hutuktu of Narabanchi related the following to me when I visited him in his monastery in the beginning of 1921:
" When the King of the World appeared before the Lamas, favored of God in this monastery thirty years ago he made a prophecy for the coming half century. It was as follows:

" ' More and more the people will forget their souls and care about their bodies, the greatest sin and corruption will reign on the earth. People will become as ferocious animals, thirsting for the blood and death of their brothers. The 'Crescent' [did me mean Muslims particularly Arabs as in star and crescent?] will grow dim and its followers will descend into beggary and ceaseless war. Its conquerors will be stricken by the sun but will not progress upward and twice they will be visited with the heaviest misfortune, which will end in insult before the eye of the other peoples. The crowns of kings, great and small, will fall...one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. eight...There will be a terrible battle among all the peoples. The seas will become red...the earth and the bottom of the seas will be strewn with bones,,, kingdoms will be scattered...whole peoples will die...hunger, disease, crimes unknown to the law, never before seen in the world. The enemies of God and of the Devine Spirit in man will come. Those who take the hand of another shall also perish. The forgotten and the pursued shall rise and hold the attention of the whole world. There will be fogs and storms. Bare mountains shall suddenly be covered with forests...
you can guess the picture, as it reads like revelations. What is interesting is that he also says below.

in the fiftieth year only three great kingdoms will appear which will exist happily seventy-one years, Afterwards there will be eighteen years of war and destruction, Then the peoples of Agharti will come up from their subterranean caverns to the surface of the earth.
The fiftieth year from the year of the prophecy was 1940. 71 years from that is 2011. So the war and destruction for 18 years is after 2011 and the residents of Agharthi to return in 2029. hmm.
There are quite a few people interested in speeding up the process. I guess.

The article about Buddhism and The Dalai Lama above, reminded me of an article from SOTT news from September 2003, where the Dalai Lama was saying that maybe the war on Iraq was justified. Here is the excerpt:

Dali Lama: Iraq War May Be Justified
Scott Lindlaw, AP, September 10, 2003 11:09 PM

The Dalai Lama said Wednesday that the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan may have been justified to win a larger peace, but that is it too soon to judge whether the Iraq war was warranted. "I think history will tell," he said in an interview with The Associated Press on Wednesday, just after he met with President Bush.

"In principle, I always believe nonviolence is the right thing, and nonviolent method is in the long run more effective," said the Dalai Lama, who after the Sept. 11 attacks had implored Bush to avoid a violent response by the United States.

The exile Tibetan leader, awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, said the Vietnam War increased suffering and was a "failure." But, he said, some wars, including the Korean War and World War II, helped "protect the rest of civilization, democracy." He said he saw a similar result in Afghanistan - "perhaps some kind of liberation."

"The people themselves, I think, suffer a lot under their previous regimes," he said. But he was adamant that the United States not lose sight of rebuilding Afghanistan...
Okay the man needed more time before having enough facts to base a judgement. So I looked for a newer speech by him and found this from an article 2 years later- September 2005:
http://www.tibet.com/NewsRoom/hhvisit2005idaho.htm said:
..."Violence is unpredictable," said the Dalai Lama, who has won support from the Bush administration, including Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, for his campaign to restore Tibetan political autonomy. "In the case of Afghanistan, perhaps there's something positive. In Iraq, it's too early to tell."...
So 4 years after the invasion of Afghanistan the Dalai Lama still thinks that something positive might come out of Afghanistan, and he is still finding it to early to even raise a critical voice about the war on Iraq... two and a half year after the Iraqi invasion.

He or his staff is obviously not familiar with SOTT, or news in general apart from the massmedia. Then again why spoil a chummy relationship with the neocons by critism, when there are no Tibetan Buddhist in neither Afghanistan or Iraq. Critism would only hurt the business. ;)

In the most recent comments from just over a month ago, the Dalai Lama now feels too many people have been killed:

AP Interview: Dalai Lama says war in Iraq has shed too much blood
LAURA KURTZMAN
Associated Press

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Dalai Lama said Tuesday that violence in Iraq has cost too many lives and soured his view of the U.S.-led war.

The Tibetan spiritual leader reserved judgment on the war early on, saying it would only become clear with time whether the invasion would prove to be a good idea.

"At the early stage I felt, and also I expressed, 'Too early to say, to judge.' But now, things not very positive," he said in an interview with The Associated Press. "Now in Iraq - too many killings."

To restore relations between the Muslim world and the West, he said, both sides should move toward one another.

"Close contact creates clear understanding," he said. "Then suspicion, fear may not find much room. Even some disagreement doesn't matter."

The Dalai Lama was in Long Beach on Tuesday to address a conference of women presided over by California first lady Maria Shriver. He also met privately with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The spiritual leader was eager to address the conference, his first speech to such a large group of women, because he feels they play a special role in society as the caretakers of children. He said women can restore the values of compassion that often are lost in the busy modern world.

"Biologically, women have greater potential to show a sense of concern for others' suffering," he said later in his address to the crowd of 13,000, most of whom were women. "So, now, that we must promote."
So, what happened? Did the Dalai Lama and his helpers start reading SOTT or did the support that they were counting on from the Neo-cons not materialize?
In any case it is good to hear that 655000 death in Iraq (if that is the true figure) is also too many for the Dalai Lama :)

INTRODUCTION
In the first posting in this thread there was this:
http://community-2.webtv.net/BARNUBIANEMPIRE/BLACKPEOPLEBLACK/index.html
I began to wonder about the formulation; it is a forceful slogan, but is it really true. Are all ideas equally good? I wouldn't sign for that. Some ideas are subjective, some more objective, some suit in one place, some in another place, some are useful at one time and not so useful before or later.
The second thought was if "AFRICANS, AFRICANS OF THE AMERICAS, INDO-NEGROIDS, NEGRO-AUSTRALOIDS, MELANESIANS, AUSTRALIAN ABORIGINALS AND OTHER BLACKS WORLDWIDE MUST UNITE TO FIGHT RACISM" are they in fact of one race? I recalled having seen somewhere that this is not the case. Checking up at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Races_of_physical_anthropology and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race] apparently this is still so. All black are not from the same race. So would it not be better to write "UNITE TO FIGHT "COLOURISM"" which would mean to unite to fight discrimination due to colour. Or did they choose the word black because 'coloured' in the past meant someone who was in between black and white like people of many Asian nations and that in a number of countries being coloured meant a better treatment than if one was black?
One question to keep in mind when reading the following post is this: Will the outcome of the activity of Black Africans in the coming years provide primarily food for the moon or food for the soul? If, as Cassiopaea suggested, "it will depend on how much awareness you manage to generate to direct the energy", how do you propose to do this?

*******************************************************************************************
Food for the moon or food for the soul?

If we begin with our own life, which is near to us, we can study our genealogy. For every generation the amount of ancestors double if there has been no inbreeding, which there however eventually will have to be, since if we go 20 generations back, the amount of ancestors will mathematically speaking exceed the number of people living on the planet at that time. Also we are not likely to be able to account for everyone since records were not kept or did not survive. In most cases after rather few generations the information will taper off before disappearing into the mists of history. Nevertheless, one can, on the basis of the information available in many cases conjecture to what nationalities or tribes or language groups these ancestors primarily belonged, and if they were all of one race or different races.

Like this the study genealogy can lead to the study of groups. Every individual is the full or partial outcome of a group effort spanning a field of time, just as every family, clan, tribe, race and nation is in itself a group of the present.

Having arrived to the concept of races, are there in fact differences between them, that could give rise to a bias, and if so what to do?

One argument for investigating this question is that bias that is either forbidden or suppressed in some groups or exaggerated and distorted in others is not helpful. The following explains the logic on an individual basis.

It is possible to find several statistics on the Internet, some new and some old, some detailed some not. Below is one that is within the range of what I have seen elsewhere. It varies a few points but does not change the overall picture.

Go to the "promote SOTT" page here: http://signs-of-the-times.org/signs/promote_sott.php

Download the graphics, take them to a local printer and have them made into stickers. Carry a batch of them with you everywhere and stick them where people can't help but look at them - use your imagination.

Most of all, have fun doing it. Every sticker is a nick in the power structure.
Here is one of the posters which has a simple message although an address to Red Pill Press would have been justified too. Good for a T=shirt:
