Sri Yukteswar wrote The Holy Science in 1894.[3] In the introduction, Sri Yukteswar wrote:

"The purpose of this book is to show as clearly as possible that there is an essential unity in all religions; that there is no difference in the truths inculcated by the various faiths; that there is but one method by which the world, both external and internal, has evolved; and that there is but one Goal admitted by all scriptures."[3]

Sri Yukteswar was the guru of Paramahansa Yogananda (_http://selfrealizationfellowship.com) who was one of the first Indian Yogis to take up residence in the US. His picture is included on the inside cover of Sgt. Pepper, presumably due to George Harrison's involvement with Yogananda. It's a quick read. If you're interested in yoga it's worth checking out. Sri Yukteswar is a primary character in Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi.

Sri Yukteswar is LOT more popular as Guru of Paramahansa Yogananda. Yogananda spent his entire life popularising and spreading his Meditation based spiritual yogic tradition ( he got it from his guru) with a result of lot of following every where.
Paramahansa Yogananda's mission is about mixing hindu esoteric Yogic tradition with the christian traditions to show the unity of religions. Autobiography of Paramahansa Yogananda 'the autobiography of Yogi' is considered to be classic by many and very inspiring. I read this book, It is very good read, even though it doesn't go to the depth of C's concepts . You can find this book on the internet . _http://www.kriyayoga.com/free/eBooks/Autobiography_of_a_Yogi--by_Paramahansa_Yogananda_1946_edition.pdf. Even though this book little older than the currently printed available book, it covers most of it.

Hiya there people,

I am new on here, as of ten minutes ago new! ;)

A book that I have just recently been reading is the Holy Science by Sri Yukteswar, I think it is a great book, very informative.
Has anyone else here read this? And what are your thoughts on what he has written? I would be very interested to hear others views on this. Also rather recently I have been reading Ra The Law of One, and love it, after some experiences I have had throughout my life I totally resonate with what is being said here. 100% It has become my bible and I am so grateful to find something that resonates with my own intuition and direct experiences with some of what has been talked about on there.

Here is a link to Holy Science, incase anyone is interested in checking it out for themselves.

Warm Regards

Tripitaka

Thank you very much. I shall have a read and join in.

Thanks again

I enjoyed the work of Paramahnsa and Sri Yukteswar. It helps you to expand your concepts and realize that religious urges can be expressed in all sorts of ways.
