The Miiaomi Stone?

The Force is Strong With This One
Random question - I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of the 'Miiaomi Stone?' - the name was passed on by a master douser apparently via a 2nd person to someone I know who calls on it's power for entity removal. She has found it to work - but has never been able to find out what it is. Search engines don't bring anything up.

Well, I would like to give it a try - to find out what a 'Miiaomi Stone" is?

I had the same luck you did Caz, search engine brought up no hits for "'Miiaomi Stone".

I broke "'Miiaomi" up in two words ..... 'Miia and omi.

The word "Miia" generated a link to a site with Baby names.
http://www.ourbabynamer.com/meaning-of-Miia.html

What does Miia mean?

The name Miia is of Finnish origin.

The meaning of Miia is "beloved".

Miia is generally used as a girl's name.

It consists of 4 letters and 2 syllables and is pronounced Mii-a.

So, we have a clue that "Miia is Finnish".

The word "omi" generates links to stonework and using natural stone like granite and marble. Omi and Omni seem to represent stonework in patterns like flooring or sidewalks.

Considering the words "'Miiaomi Stone" - omi might represent a natural Finnish stone? Which generated this site:

This page shows photos of the different types and color combinations of Finnish stone:

There is a large selection of natural Finnish stones - maybe you can locate a stone that resembles the "'Miiaomi Stone"?

Thanks angelburst - great idea to look for the root words. . I'm kind of veering towards this being the name of an ancient Celtic standing stone or something of that ilk from what you found so far.

I'm interested to find out why these stone masons have chosen the name 'omi' for their businesses. Warrants further research...

Thanks again :)
