An irresistible read, difficult to put down once started. In the Introduction, the first page was helpful regarding grief, as I started to read it just after the anniversary of my mother’s death. That was the first of many helpful extracts and quotes. To get a flavour of the content, and paraphrasing in places:
‘the search for the true meaning of Love was the same as the search for Salvation and Faith and, in the end, all of it was ultimately the search for the meaning of Eternal Life.’ … ‘a search for the meaning of the Ark.’
Explaining the differences between the way of the Pragmatists, the Realists and the Man of Faith.
Then there was Velikorsky’s ‘World in Collision’ – a book that has been residing in my ‘to read’ box - and his theories on the ‘order of the universe’ and electrical potentials within the atmosphere, and between ‘space bodies’ (I’d just started to dip into ‘The Electric Universe’ whilst researching the workings of the atmosphere), cometary activity and ‘end times’, and his prophesies, and descriptions of the mechanics of extraterrestrial interaction. Needless to say, ‘Worlds in Collision’ has been brought out for current reading!
And then, ‘our spiritual clothing’ and ‘redemption’ – the idea of spiritual preparation for ‘end times’ brought about by the Grand Wave cycle.
Plus, the interpretations of Biblical sayings, is immensely useful, as is explaining how everything fits together – ‘geological changes; possible war; the conflict between good and evil; and cosmic phenomena’ – for the staging and effecting of the end result: Metamorphosis – a New Heaven and a New Earth.’ … ‘the unity of spirit and matter – the ultimate alchemical event’ … ‘The earth and mankind returned to the Garden of Eden, literally.’
Now it’s time to read it again, this time for meaning (both overt and covert (if there is any)).
Thank you Laura.
