I was recently was over in the US (Florida). Thought this roadside billboard was pretty subtle. 8|

The propaganda war certainly seems to have been stepped up over there in the last couple of years, but it did seem the mindless support for it hasn’t. Correct me if I’m wrong, but a lot of Americans really like to wear their hearts on their bumper stickers. I was really surprised by the lack of ‘support our troops’ ribbon stickers out there. I remember 2 or 3 years ago, you’d pull up behind most cars to an advertisement of the driver’s eagerness for you to identify them with the ‘You’re either with us or against us!’ line. Could this installed link between war and patriotism be failing? Maybe for this reason, subtlety is out of the window.

Maybe the bumper sticker theory has a place in scientific polls. :)
