I don't think Obama is any more of a hoax or set up than any other American president in the last 50 years. It sounds like this might be a Tea Party presentation?

Well I, for one, am underwhelmed based solely on the points you gave in the initial post. It's basically an "Obama tar and feather" campaign. The fact that Alex Jones is behind it only crystallizes my feelings in that regard. You may want to read up on the AJ thread, especially starting with a member's post here - http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,1210.msg154380.html#msg154380 - to get a refresher on a very similar conversation to the one in this thread.

No one is shooting you down, we're shooting the film down, based on knowledge of the type of mind that creates such things and promo info. If you are identified with the film, or with your post, it feels like shooting you down - but it's not. See how identification confuses things?

Yes, I have seen the movie and it has some good points but sort of misses the big picture. I saw it quite a while ago and don't even remember what was the whole message coming out of it as it bacame the typical Alex Jones one rant after another. It may be useful movie for the average American but doesn't add much to what we already know being networked on this forum. The guesses made by other members who have not seen it are spot on. It has flavours of tea party movement at its core.

There were some very interesting points in this movie.

Yes, I did watch the movie, although I must admit that I fell asleep about half way through. There are some very interesting points in this movie for sure, about wall street being more powerfull than, and owning the president and what not. But I also think that this production is used to steer people in the wrong direction, for it calls on people to share the film, let others view it, so that "together we can bring change", "take the country back", "join the fight" etc. In Alex Jones own words (at 1:05:44): "It's going to be one hell of a fight". And given that Alex Jones has been known to call for violent revolution in the past, which can only end in a bloody mess, it would be best for people to ignore him and find other ways to protect themselves from the psychopaths in power. Or so I think.

what are the merits of this video? I'm not opposed to the idea that Alex Jones is a tool of the oligarchs he seemingly is exposing in this video, but does the Wake Up factor outweigh the Scare and Arm Yourself factor?

Hi, just to say that even if I am not anymore listening and watching Alex Jones (since I follow Sott.net I really started to see things as they are) this movie made to me a big impression when I saw it, some 2 years ago. It was the beginning of my wake up and the movie gave me the occasion to look forward and see this reality as it is. I don't like Alex Jones, I think he is a very manipulative person and really, I hate to be manipulated. When you don't have a clear idea of this reality this movie is very scary, that's one of the target of the movie: produce fear. He is very good at this. And this movie is very good in that sense.

This fear that I felt when I saw the movie was my first step to look for more information about this world. Hopefully I saw a video of Laura and then... this is another story. ;D
