The Force is Strong With This One
Recently I finished reading The Priesthood of the Illes, a compilation of three books, done by Jordan Maxwell. Comments and Questions:
The author(s) uses Etymology as the main instrument and ancient as well as modern languages are studied with respect to some very often met words or groups of letters, such as: il, el (like in elohim or Ilium or Illes de France), ar (like in arya, ariens), an (related to circle, anneau and with the donkey) etc. Also, the myths and religions of various nations are compared, from South America to China, Northern Europe and Ireland to Egypt.
The idea is that the Il-s were (in some ancient times) real characters, historically speaking, the gods....They lived on islands in prosperity, they approached the land thru the deltas of the rivers, they established their palaces on the hills and from there they ruled the people. Zeus, Poseidon, Hermes, Quetzalcoatl, Jahve etc were real guys. They navigated around the world in big ships. Sometimes they fought among them or with the giants, also interbreed but also used ordinary women, ate and drink. And use to hide from the sight of the people, had elongated heads etc. They brought civilization everywhere and the aborigines accepted it without fighting. Their orders were given thru oracles, in temples, everywhere in the ancient world. After dying they were associated to stars and planets. Etc...
The second in position were the Arya, the priesthood. They transmitted the commands to the people and collected the wealth in their temples (which combined religion with banking on that time). The world was divided in territories separated by Hermes poles at the boundaries. The priesthood traveled using the Caduceus like a passport. The priesthood used the Hebrew language as a universal language. Using some rules of converting the consonants (such as the Grimm's laws) they could adjust the ancient Hebrew to speak in other languages. These gods and their priests caused the apparition of so many languages, forcing people to live inside predetermined boundaries and in time, altering their languages. Many of our deep rooted thoughts and beliefs come from those times, having so real basis.
1) Is it possible that the Irish, Greek, Semitic, Egyptian etc. gods have been REAL characters, some special beings similar to humans? And that the astrotheology was created later by the priests, by inspiring from the lives of those Il-s?
2) What is your critical opinions about the ideas from that amazing book?
