A Disturbance in the Force
Anyone, know about status of "The Ring 3" is there in shoot? something like that? And same query over Mirrors movie.

I like those movies much more.

Hey StuartSchmidtke,

Horror movies like "The Ring" are not the kind of movies we usually discuss or watch here, since they offer very little (if any) value in terms of what this network is about. ;) Most often those kind of movies promote and reinforce things like cruel violence and generally the lowest parts of society.

So you might want to check out some of the informations that were given to you in your welcome thread first. That will help you better understand how this forum works and on which principles it is based.

You could also look further at this board, to see which kind of movies we generally prefer and discuss.

Hi StuartSchmidtke and :welcome: to the forum,

You may not have noticed it yet but we are first and foremost a research forum where every member is expected to do his or her own research whenever possible before asking any questions.

All the more so, when the info required is readily available via a simple google search. :P

For Rings (prospected release date October 28, 2016):

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0498381/

For Mirrors 3 (release date still unknown):

I have the Japanese versions of Ringu (all four of them) on DVD and remember having enjoyed watching them -- mainly for the culture shock they provided for me (being Dutch).

I concur with Pashalis though on their merit (or lack thereof) in relation to our main interests.

Hope this helps a bit. :)

I agree. For me there's already enough violence and horror happening on this planet, in the real world, I don't want to expose myself to this kind of movie. I understand the need of people to get thrilled from time to time by watching a "scary" movie, but as Pashalis said, discussions about such films/types of entertainement are not the goal of this forum. Having said that, feel free to peruse the forum to get an idea of what we're about. :)
