This is a really neat article. It shows how the the set can be translated into music and there is even software to play with if you so choose. What is interesting is how the halo of set evaporates after the number of iterations increases. It becomes pathological, to quote the author. He calls the iteration diabolical. I am no math whiz at all but it was a different look at Mandelbrot for me and I thought I would share . It is about sonification- translating data into sounds.
