I like Paraguay - easy papers, very low taxes, stable with the same conservative party in power for decades, relatively low crime, lots of expats, Western culture where you do not stand out much, electricity is 100% water power (more independence), only half of the population uses banks, etc. It is currently one of the countries that offers the most freedom in my view.
According to british media, Starmer is "seriously considering" introducing a digital ID system to tackle immigration. Have a goal, create a problem, and introduce the goal as a solution to the problem. Digital ID + net zero carbon + vaccines, thought crimes, programmable money, etc. is a dream come true for the elite. It's following the same progression as in the EU and in the US, although the local problems are phrased slightly differently.
I'd agree with this but I think it's clear over here in the UK there's a massive disconnect from the public and those leading us.
I was a small child when Thatcher was in charge. It's gradually got worse with each new Leader, that's incredible really! No matter what colour of the party flag is waved.
I've not heard anyone have a good word for Starmer he's despised here. It does appear we're heading to some kind of breaking point.
What will that look like, another pandemic is my bet but who knows.

Coinbase recently released an advert which was prevented from being aired on television. This advert paints a picture of how they perceive the state of modern Britain and it's complex and myriad problems.

Its difficult to see anyone buying into this. The current governments actions against migration gives the air of “we’ve tried nothing and we are all out of ideas.” There is not enough trust in the government when it comes to migration (or anything for that matter) to suddenly pull out digital ID slave state as the solution to the problem. It would be like trying to do a sprinting leap before you learnt to walk.
The only hope for this strategy to get underway in the current political climate without massive resistance would perhaps be for the Reform Party (publicly opposed to illegal migration) to get into power and force it through before they eat through all their political good will. Even that might not work.
I looked through an article on the matter from The Observer where below I have posted a few extracts.
They seem to be arguing this will not only help address illegal immigration but public services like the NHS (National Health Service) which are overwhelmed by issues in part due to (but not only) the population increase. The move seems to be publicly coming through Tony Blair and his aides. Starmer and his Labour party leadership are less affectionately referred to as Blairites. Blair himself has been a bit more savvy about public relations recently (compared to the robot like Starmer) warning away from commitment to green energy, sensing its unpopularity among the people. Maybe they genuinely believe they have the support or perhaps its desperation from the establishment. I question how well the 53% support figure represents the population.
It does look like they are seriously contemplating this and given the recent reach for greater censorship I can believe the British establishment will attempt this regardless. Seems pretty clear from the article this is all aimed towards social engineering for more control.
Though it is disturbing to contemplate, these efforts might get more support if someone engineered spikes of violence/terrorism from the migrant population. Unfortunately we know this isn't beneath the establishment.
Just adding a few thoughts to this thread. I've been trying to pay attention to the economic situation in many western countries (the US mainly).
The asset stripping that started in the COVID era seems to be accelerating in the UK and EU at the moment. From what has been mentioned by Joe most of it is flowing towards the US - although that economy is not without issues.
The reason I bring it up in the UK thread is because of a convergence of different factors. All of them engineered over the last few decades, or so it appears.
The migrant crisis, the crackdown on protests, the digital ID's, the 'online safety act', the highest energy prices in the world, the warnings of 'civil war', the rise of 'populism' and the corruption/catalysation/push of that towards a more hard right position - what I'd had not seen was an analysis of the UK economy.
I'll do my best to summarise the following video - with the cavate that I am unable to verify/assess their statements. I'm unable to vouch for their validity too, as I don't know their track records. I've taken what they've said with a great deal of scepticism. But their are a few points that stand.
The current government appears to be speed running ruining the economy and country in general. It's likely the US would have got this if Trump (whatever his issues) had not got into power. That may still happen, even if he only delayed it.
Points:
UK debt to GDP (as of 2024) stands at 100% - they suspect it's closer to 160% or 200%.
2/3 of UK tax income being spent on debt interest repayment.
Housing market stagnation.
Mass layoffs.
Continued squeezing of small/medium businesses.
Market, IMF and monitory institution 'concerns'.
Concern that the October budget announcement will include more tax hikes that will reduce tax income to below sustainable levels. This will also likely kill a lot of small/medium businesses.
Firstly, despite their statements - we know western economies rely on a rigged game. It's all smoke and mirrors/a house of cards/illusion. Joe and others have mentioned in the past how Le Pen (and others) may be being setup to 'inherit' a massively broken economy - at which the plug will be pulled in the fake edifice of the economy. I suspect that given the rise of tension in the UK this is what's being engineered here.
I can only think of a few examples that overlap in recent history. The engineered crash of the Greek economy (and to a lesser extent Spain), the decades of engineered 'tensions' in Ireland/Iraq/Syria, the economic pillaging (and engineered civil wars) of eastern European countries.
The economy, and migrant situation in some regards looks like the war in Ukraine. All propaganda and not aligned with reality.
What the PTB do with it next is beyond my abilities to speculate on.
My best guess is they could stick with the slow burn and increased authoritarian measures, only letting it all 'boil over' if a populist get's into power, then nudging it into full blown fascism (left or right, doesn't matter).
Whatever happens, the PTB have a lot of potential chaos stored up for the UK.
Having said all that, maybe the UK is just the current focal point. I see that the US will be potentially introducing digital ID's soon, followed by Australia.
I should perhaps go with my gut on this then - it feels like COVID, although the 'lockstep' is not as obvious until you think about it.

Living in the UK I hear stories about protests and gang violence in certain areas of the country, however I haven’t previously heard of much going on in my local area until recently. Most of my awareness of local crime is from the news/alt news and suspicions based on observations of a gradual increase in security measures at certain stores over the last few years.
However there has now been an incident of note in my town though not near my home. There was a peculiar incident of mass vandalism of 41 cars across two hours in the night/morning of August 2nd/3rd. I don’t recall anything like this happening around here before and the precise area it happened was one of the more affluent housing areas of the town.
Information is scarce with just a couple of suspects caught on CCTV. I heard mention of some gang over the radio but the news is very vague in its wording as pertains to numbers of people involved. Though the speed and evident planning of the vandalism suggests some level of organisation behind it.
It certainly bodes poorly for the social order of the UK. I can’t help but wonder given the trial of the national guard in Washington DC whether we might be seeing the groundwork for something similar in the UK. Many more well off people have long been separated from the problems of migration and rising crime (officially crime is supposedly decreasing). I wonder whether the forces behind the perpetrators may have targeted a wealthier and peaceful neighbourhood to start to bring everyone onto the same page for the next program as the pendulum swings the other way.
