I'm telling you, if you read some of what these people say, you'll get flavours of Azov battalion type characters in there, at least on the extreme military wing side - or those who'd take charge of the military element of this whole operation they are after.

I'm not saying this is what it's about, but if you hang around this lot long enough, you'll see pathologicals are well and truly part of the fabric of it all.

The lack of knowledge regarding pathological types has left this whole thing open to massive manipulation. That's why I am staying well clear of it all.

this protest movement (at least as per what I can gather from the telegram channels) has 2 layers - there's a layer which attracts people in which is all about genuine concern for the country, and there's another layer where certain people are using that genuine concern to elevate themselves to positions where if they win, they'll be leaders. I have no problems with people playing power-games similar to what we see in game of thrones, but the people rising to the top wouldn't be your Vladimir Putin's or the like - if you know what I mean.

This brought to mind something that Lobaczewski said in Political Ponerology:

"A certain kind of layering or schizophrenia of ideology takes place during the ponerization process. The outer layer closest to the original content is used for the association's propaganda purposes, especially regarding the outside world.... The second layer is initially comprehensible only to the pathological elite of the association: it is more hermetic, generally composed by slipping a different meaning into the same names." (pg. 158)

Certainly it would be a truism to say that this whole situation has more than one (obvious) layer. Rallying 'the mob' for operation 'raise the flag' against immigration is one level. Its the second layer that concerns me.

So, I wonder what is the grand plan of STS? What outcome do they really want from this particular situation in Europe?

Well put. As you say PopHistorian, a definite build up of charge for the finger lickin' good 4D feeding frenzy, but what's the end game? Or, maybe hopefully, their own wishful thinking precludes a grand end game..?
