Thank you for these shining examples of free speech crackdowns in the UK
@Ricardo. I think Iain McGilchrist put it rather well in a
recent substack article:
"In the UK.... there has come about a radical shift towards what I think may fairly be called the totalitarian left. This is often called ‘soft’ totalitarianism: it brands people according to how ‘right on’ – in other words, far-left leaning – their opinions on a whole range of issues may be. This totalitarianism is far from ‘soft’ in reality."
I think McGilchrist has a real point. The totalitarianism of the UK Government can no longer be called soft or subtle; its out in the open.
Digital ID's are probably just round the corner (I doubt the online petition will amount to much, though I hope I'm wrong).
@Seato previously provided a link to The Light - there is definitely some food for thought
here.
A snippet:
"They have and will sell digital ID as the answer to most of the world’s problems in the coming weeks and months, after also creating the crises for which digital ID would have conveniently been a preventative measure. Do not be deceived: this is the beginning of the total control of humanity the likes of which no dictator, warlord or megalomaniac in the past or in fiction could ever dream of."
Hyperbolic or realistic?
