I don't know if anyone reported this on the forum yet. There been an attack on a synagogue in Manchester. 2 people killed by British national of Syrian origin.
The news is filled tonight with the anti-Semitic message and how Jewish people are living in fear. Can't help feeling this is going to be used as part of the crackdown on free speech here.
I really do think we're in big trouble. The country is a real mess and been played by the man behind the curtain.

I wouldn't be surprised if in the coming weeks we hear that this man was previously known to intelligence agencies, similar to the perpetrators of the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing.

The protests for the seizure of aid seen across the UK were met with police force, and from what I can tell from X, many are reporting that the protestors were there to show support for the synagogue terrorist attacker.

The Greater Manchester Police just posted this update on X. Apparently the armed officers also accidentally shot two of the people in attendance at the synagogue, presumably while aiming for the attacker.

It seems to me that the Government response lays out their intention quite nicely:

"Estonia’s system reportedly saves each citizen hours every month by streamlining unnecessary bureaucracy, and the move to becoming a digital society has saved taxpayer money." (Who doesn't want to save taxpayer money, right?)

"It will not be compulsory to obtain a digital ID but it will be mandatory for some applications." (We will - not so gradually - make life very difficult for those who dare to not immediately comply).

"it will create business information showing where employers are conducting checks, so driving more targeted action against non-compliant employers." (We and our appointed minions will take full advantage of being able to target individuals)

"People in the UK already know and trust digital credentials held in their phone wallets to use in their everyday lives, from paying for things to storing boarding passes. The new system will be built on similar technology and be your boarding pass to government. (The people of the UK have effectively already consented to this, so tough poopy and enjoy your ride on the crazy train)

"we will seek to bring forward legislation to underpin this system" (We've already drafted this legislation. It's pretty watertight because we've been working on it for quite some time while we've been fomenting the social conditions necessary for us to impose it.)

Makes me nostalgic for those halcyon days of 'soft totalitarianism'...

SUMMARY

I have a digital ID because I am not a citizen I am a mass migrant and the thing didn't even work at first I had to email and phone 13 times to get it started. If anyone's going to screw up digital ID it's the government. It's DOA in my opinion and once Blair's out of the picture we'll probably never see it again.

Starmer’s Digital ID plans are too toxic even for Oswald Mosley’s grandson and Palantir​

“Louis Mosley is the head of Palantir in the UK & Europe. Responding to speculation that the data firm would work with the UK’s Labour government to implement Digital ID, Mosley has now confirmed this will not be the case. The given reason is that Labour is curtailing ‘democracy’ by implementing this monumental policy without having listed it in their 2024 manifesto.

Even Palantir don’t want Labour’s big data from Digital ID plans​

As we’ve covered, Palantir is a US company which specialises in data services and spy tech. Co-founder Peter Thiel is a prominent Trump donor with links to the dead paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Human rights organisations such as Amnesty International have reported on Palantir’s links to mass-surveillance. The Palestine Solidarity Campaign, meanwhile, has covered the “strategic partnership” between Palantir and Israel, referencing AI tools which ‘enable Israel’s attacks on Palestinians’.

As reported by the National, Mosley said Palantir:

had “a policy that we will help democratically elected governments implement the policies they have been elected to deliver”, but added that since digital IDs were not on the Labour Party’s manifesto for the 2024 general election and therefore hasn’t seen “a clear resounding public support at the ballot box”, it “isn’t one for” Palantir.

Mosley went on to say that he had “personal concerns” over the scheme and the potential abuses it could face, as well as the “technical necessity” for its implementation.

“We have all had the experience of engaging with parts of government where the online experience leaves something to be desired. It needs improvement”, he added.

In line with other critics, Mosley highlighted that UK already has multiple forms of ID, flagging the potential for misuse.

As reported by the Canary, the petition to stop Digital ID is the fourth largest in UK history; it’s also still growing.

While the government has said the scheme will prevent ‘shadow economies’ of illegal labour, they also highlighted an already-implemented Digital ID scheme in Estonia. This proved controversial, as Estonia’s shadow economy is more than twice the size of the UK’s:

While Louis Mosley has not labelled himself a ‘fascist’, critics of Palantir have accused it of facilitating racialised policies, as reported by openDemocracy in 2021:

Palantir has attracted controversy for its involvement with the US’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, which is responsible for the removal of undocumented immigrants. The Trump administration tasked the ICE with increasing deportations, leading to a spike in the number of people being held in deportation centres.

The agency has been repeatedly accused of racial profiling and violations of human rights. Palantir has provided technology for ICE’s systems that was used to “execute harmful policies targeting migrants and asylum-seekers”, according to Amnesty International.

The human rights group found that the tech company’s software was used to plan the arrest of hundreds of people and the separation of children from their parents.

Amnesty concluded that Palantir failed “to put an adequate due diligence process in place” and “to meet its responsibility to respect human rights”.

Louis Mosley spoke favourably of “the return of Donald Trump” in February. In the same speech, he spoke of the need for “free speech”:

Palantir not wanting to participate in undemocratic digital control and surveillance in the UK, even though that is pretty much Palantir's business model.

Of course Palantir is run by the technocrat faction, while Britain is controlled by the globalist faction - so some friction or even conflict between the two is not surprising.

It does seem that this news reveals quite a bit about the real power politics behind the scenes, though it is not easy to decipher. Wouldn't the technocrats gain more power if the UK relied on Palantir?

What is the real reason why the technocrats refused? Is the UK going too fast with its digital gulag plans, which wakes people up all over the world, potentially sabotaging the Palantir/technocrat plans for their own digital gulag system?

Another explanation might be that the EU, UK, etc. (globalist faction) want a digital gulag system run by the government (digital ID, CBDCs), while the technocrat faction in the US apparently wants a privately run digital gulag system (private stablecoins instead of CBDC).
